The View from the Away End

I have waited as long as I can, and continually checked the barcodes forums, but there isn’t that much content to share. This should give you an idea of their thoughts though.  There are a couple of things I think we should acknowledge …The first one is how do we fight the system ? If we officials are corrupt, how the hell are we going to win anything ? The decisions at the spuds game were obscene. Secondly, and more importantly, there will be a tribute to Alan Henning  during the 11th minute tomorrow, and I know we will support this. If you take out the decisions of the officials, and all things being equal, we should take all three points tomorrow.

Now ….COME ON CITY !!!

Team Selection

Krul
Janmaat Mbemba Coloccini Mbabu
Obertan Wijnaldum Anita Aarons
Perez Mitrovic

Referee:  Kevin Friend

My favourite

Kompany OUT!! come on!

And the rest…

Going to be harder than the Chelsea game this one and i can’t see us getting anything other than a tonking. Would be delighted with a draw.

Not much chance just hope we don’t get hammered we tend to against this lot!

To be honest this game does not worry me – we all expect to lose, so if we do it’s not an issue. Pretty much every other team in the league expects to lose against City, and probably will. Get it out of the way and move on. Scrape a point and I’ll be over the moon.
Easier games ahead.

Hart and Konoany are back? f***s sake just put a bet on 5-0 to us as well.

We can beat them, Manchester City is in bad state after being hammered by Tottenham. Now is the perfect time to play against them. With their players’s moral in all time low we can achieve something there. My prediction is win for United….City 0 vs 3 New. United…
Mitrovic with Hattrick, with Perez, Cisse, and Janmaat score one disallowed goal each.

nobody, fans, pundits, anyone thinks we will get anything other than a good roasting so its a win win for the players really if we can get a point that would be a massive bonus if we don’t then its what’s expected but as with Newcastle you can never know what’s next?

Anything other than getting stuffed will be a bonus to be honest. Would like to see us at least play some decent attacking football like we did against Chelsea – if we do will be happy enough irrespective of result.

Manchester-City

We can hope that two straight league defeats has shot their confidence and if we nick an early goal they will feel the pressure, the flip side is two straight league defeats has cut deep and we get the fooking backlash, I want to see some of the positivety shown against chelski just to prove that this new courage conviction and no fear that Penfold was banging on about is now the permanent mindset and not just a one-off last weekend.

The centre of their defence is s***, if we have a go at them with Mitrovic/Perez/Thauvin/Sissoko we might get something. Just hoping our own defence doesn’t fold like it usually does against city.

Toure, Nasri and Kompany definitely out. Silva struggling. But….Sterling, Aguero and De Bruyne will all start – ouch…If Mbabu plays as well as he did last week, McClaren will not be able to drop him, I hope he has another big game, but this will be a much bigger challenge for him.

I think we will struggle but I thought that last weekend. Like others have said its not a game we expect anything from so a point would be a real bonus . I predict 3-0 to City unfortunately. Needless to say I hope I am wrong!

Silva Nasri hug
