The View from the Home End

I am a little bit relaxed this weekend, and I think that’s because we have now conceded and been beaten. All we have to do now is get on with it. The home fans have absolutely no hope for the game tomorrow, and that worries me a little, but I trust in the team, and I feel a tiny bit confident. Also have a little bit of a thing for Ginger Kev  – you know he will save us !

Now …COME ON CITY !

Team Selection

McGee
Veljkovic Fazio Davies
Winks Onomah
Eriksen Chadli Kane

Referee : Mark Clattenburg

My Favourite

Kompany is in?

And the rest…

We have naff all chance in this game regardless of the team we put out, which makes tonights selection even more unforgivable, everything aguero ever touches against us turns to goals

Potch is a fucking joke and a chancer…City are going to rape us, but at least we rested players last night. How he thinks this game is more important, just shows what a fucking twat he is…Spurs 1- 4 City

This is a huge game for Poch. Win it with his preferred XI & he can justify his disappointing (& failed) team selection last night. Lose it & people will rightly say he should have gone with his best XI against the scum. I think he fucked it up last night. Badly. I also think we will lose on Saturday, even with our strongest team. Sadly, Citeh are better than us by some margin. Which makes last nights selection even more baffling. Win the games you know you can with your best team (especially against your fiercest rivals in a cup). Accept that there are certain teams you don’t expect to beat. If you beat them, it’s a pleasant surprise. But by Saturday afternoon, we will still be out of the cup & probably no more points on the board. That will be a bad week all round. Let’s just hope that we do those fuckers on Saturday against the odds.

Let’s not kid ourselves here, City is head and shoulders above us and we’re at home. I hate seeing us play at home(no disrespect to the fans, I love you all) but I really think the pitch size does something to us

Last chance for Kane in the 1st XI. If he is still rubbish, then it’s time to consider using Son or N’Jie upfront. Can’t always be a default starter just because of what he did last season.

We’re winning this…Kane will finally break his duck

Last season took a dive from that fat cunt Lampard, and a goal where he was offside AND interferring with play to take the game out of our reach at The Etihad.
Then at WHL it was fairly even, nothing really in it but Aguero got a goal….That’s my concern, even game – or even us playing better- we fail to take a chance or two and then Kun(t) scores.. and then gets injured so he can’t inflict damage on our rivals.

If West Ham can do it so can we. Bring ’em on! Man City has really dodgy defenders, ours (excluding Fazio) are better.

A small minority might argue that acquiring De Bruyne and Sterling has made them stronger…I’m sat on the fence on this one.

Poch, has really left himself nowhere to go if we don’t get a result against City, master tactician bollocks!!

Kane should be dropped from this tbh, fuck me I regret us not signing Austin in the summer

I’m saying we pray to every kind of god. I honestly expect us to get beat. I believe City are the better team. I’ll be cheering us on and hoping we can snatch a win or a draw, but that’s the best I expect. A snatched result.

Expect nothing from this one. Draw would be a great result.
