The View from the Away End

I am away for this one, which means I will be watching in the local Blue pub at 7am in the morning. This is going to be the perfect test for the strength of the squad, and good preparation for the trip to the swamp next weekend. Unfortunately there are not too many comments form the away fans, and at the time of writing I couldn’t find a single match thread. Hopefully these few comments will give you some idea of what is going through their minds. I am expecting a decent game, and not to be drunk by 9am. Guess we will see…now

COME ON CITY !!!

Referee: Mike Dean

My favourite

Overpriced pies and beer.

And the rest …

Maybe Citeh will just play Dean upfront instead of Aguero

0-5 Away win

I think we have a good chance of getting something there (I hope so as I am going) due to most of the City players being away to all parts of the world on international duty, EH can work on shape and passages and patterns of play during the break.

I’d be very happy with a point from this.

to not do as badly as Newcastle and no more bleeding injuries.

To play how we are capable of playing, not be overawed by the occasion but to play the correct tactics for the occasion. To not have the referee affect the game negatively against us and to not pick up any injuries. If we do all this I’ll take whatever result comes our way. In other words, the expectations for this game are exactly the same as every other game this season.

3-1 to them…we wont cave totally like the barcodes ….I think our style of play of pushing up at every opportunity and making the most of possession will confuse the hell out of City and earn some respect, suppress them and its a low scoring game, they’ll have to work hard for a result..

A thread where we are discussing how we will do at Man City. This is a whole other place.

With both Aguero & David da silva both ruled out for our game at City we could force a draw if we are able to get everyone to play at the top of there game!!! what a result , it is possible

Silva is definitely their most important player, he keeps the midfield ticking. Having him and Aguero out is a dream.

(re Sergio being out)…Whilst that is good news for us from the point of view of getting a result, it is on another level very disappointing. One of the (few) attractions of the premier is to see how AFCB cope against the best teams and to see the quality of some of the best players in the world in the flesh, so it will be a shame not to see him..

We need all the City Mancs players to catch flu bugs before the weekend,we need 3 pts lol

It does make you wonder though. We are playing a Man City side without their three best players without five of our own. My mate who is a toon fan keeps telling me to stop moaning as they have got 13 out and krul did his acl this week to be their latest. Ings and Gomez…

bournemouth-4
