Ok, I’ve checked several times, and I believe we do have a game tomorrow. That, and the ticket on the counter in the kitchen. I hate feeling confident, but given the team options, I think we can do this. The home fans are not so confident, so bring it on, lets prove them right.

and COME ON CITY !!!

one of the biggest teams in europe coming to town…

And the rest

Time to exorcise the misery of defeat at Newcastle and produce another improbable double.

All I can say is that I have a bad feeling about this one….The fact that we take till half time to start playing has probably not gone unnoticed amongst the rest of the premier league managers. I expect City to attack us with high intensity from the first minute

Without a decent spearhead up top we will struggle. Saying that City only have 1 win away in something like 4 months

Park the bus with the handbrake off…They will be at us from the start so we hit them on the break.

I don’t care who their front 6 are, as long as Kompany isn’t playing I fancy us against this lot, without him at the back they struggle with organization and with our flowing attacking style we could carve this lot up at the back, if Sakho and Lanzini were fit I’d back us to win but as they’re not I predict a draw

Time to drop Noble for this one, I think. It is will be difficult enough for us against this lot, without him making it doubly more difficult for us by him gifting them possession as well

They’re the best attacking team we’ve faced for about 2 months. Jenkinson shouldn’t be anywhere near the XI.

Would rather lose, having a right go at them, rather than just defending for 90mins, and getting beat anyway.

2-0 Citeh…We looked very disjointed at Newcastle.

As augero is back Collins needs a well earned rest. He is most effective against big strikers like benteke and alike. Against a nippy augero id like to see Reid return to partner ogbonna at the back.

Going to be a toughie. Will snap your hand off at a point. Agree Collins has to sit this one out and Reid to come in against Aguero. Also, I am torn between Tonks and Jenks at rb as Tomkins better defensively but Jenkinson’s pace could be handy against their wide men. Need to start better – no room for mistake against this lot.

Worst time to be playing them right now, Aguero and Silva just getting to full match fitness, they are starting to click and score goals freely. I would take a point now and a win against Villa next, 4 points from the 2 games would set us up nicely for Feb and getting Sakho and Carroll back to kick on

Anyone who puts Tomkins and Noble up against Delph/Silva/Navas/Stirling is pretty foolish, imo, especially having witnessed last weekend’s display along with the first half at Bournemouth!!

Would love to see us do the double, but just think we are a little hit and miss right now and they just seem to have returned to form and had their better players returning too!

Think we’ll lose this one, personally…They’ve hit a bit of form of late and we’ve got no fit strikers..I’d be happy with a draw tbh.

We have enough defensive players to frustrate them, and Payet to provide the unexpected

It’s a bit of a rough one for Collins since he’s been in a purple patch, but the back 4 in virtually every one of our best performances this season has been Tomkins – Reid – Ogbonna – Cresswell. ..City represent a big step up from any attacks we’ve faced in the last 2 months as well, so past success might be a better bet than current form anyway. Aguero, De Bryne, Silva, Sterling and co are a world away from the Afobes, Longs and Ayews we’ve come up against recently.

Just glad that Bilic selects the team! lol In Slaven we Trust! he sends the players out to do what he wants, it is going to be a tough match, a lot depends on the players frame of mind from the start, last weekend was a bad one and not the fault of one player only as some would make out! I will be Happy with a draw, but the win would be Mighty Sweet, come on Slav get them in that right frame of mind from the kick off,

Cannot wait for the match…i still believe a lot depends on man city, their squad and talent should be able to put any team to the sword easily…so if they turn up and are on it, it could be a tricky evening…however…i think we have come such a long way this season, we wont fear them and will cause them plenty of problems, injuries or no injuries…newcastle did a job on us…this lot wont worry about us, they will play their own game and im hoping that will play into our hands…i cant call it, it could be 2-1 to us 3-3, or we could get thumped 1-4…none of those results would surprise me…i’m looking forward to a great game of football, and what i imagine will be a phenomenal atmosphere…plenty of drinking time, under the lights, and one of the biggest teams in europe coming to town…
