The View from the Away End

Seb-12

If I am honest, who the hell knows what will happen tomorrow. I am a little bit scared about all this confidence, it’s all gone horribly wrong in the past. Ive been keeping an eye on the forums this week, and the away fans are a little bit pre occupied with other events in their world. So we face a team with no leader, after topping out group in the CL…Anything could happen!

COME ON CITY !!!

Team Selection

My favourite

We are pathetic at the moment and you think we may get something against Man City, I cant see us getting anything unless there are major changes at our club, I am not convinced we can beat Oxford yet alone Man City…A comfortable 4-0 to them with us not even mustering any sort of shot.

And the rest…

Am I bonkers to have a sneaking feeling we scrape a 1-0 win here…just the sort of bizarre result the league has been throwing up? ….I’m going for that or a 0-5 thumping…and nothing in-between!

Attack, Attack, Attack or Defend, Defend, Defend ?

I don’t even want to think about this match at the moment.

Citeh 3 v 0 Swansea

Would like to see Tabanou at some point but we’re not likely to be doing much attacking on Sat, so Taylor can stay in. Ki and Gomis should be nowhere near the starting XI after last week and Routs is only in because we don’t have any other decent wingers. Barrow is ok as an impact sub but not for 90 minutes.

Stick Montero on the wing. Tell him City are looking at him to replace Sterling, and give him 200K a week. Bound to have a blinder.

6-0 hiding if Monk is still in charge. If we have a new man then a respectable 2-0 loss and encouraging signs on the playing field, and I’d snap your hands off for that.

If Monk is still in charge, Never, I’d be fearful of the first double figure hammering in Premier League history and I’m not joking!!

I live a 10 minute tram journey from The Etihad and I still consider it too far to travel to watch Swansea play at the moment. Maybe if Brendan is in charge by Saturday I’ll attend.

Watching them at the moment v Borussia M Gladbach and I’m glad we’re playing them instead of BMG

There’s as much chance of us getting anything Saturday as there is of me being the next president of the United States of America. ..Absolutely fuck all

If we pressure City’s back line this weekend (with Kompany still out) we may actually have a chance a point. But then again Gomis is slower than hell and won’t want to run any more than needed so we can forget about pressing City’s defence and instead we’ll let them come at us and concede 7.
Re: Bony: He’s wasted at Man City. He’s too good to have spent so much time on the bench. Wherever he went, he deserved to be in the starting X1 every week.

Well you never know, stranger things have happened…. maybe a point or more is not too unrealistic. ManCity will be expecting an easy stroll and may be complacement, and they played mid-week. There could also be a positive reaction from our players despite all that’s gone on this week. There will hopefully be some looking to impress the new manager coming in. Gomis may even be panicking!

Four things that could get us a great result tomorrow. The controversy is finally over and players always seem to play harder first game out on the fresh start. City will think we are down and out for this away game .

I’m pretty sure Aquero is out .And last but not least , the Law of Average says we can’t not win forever…Going for a 2-1 win
