I agree with him about player hoarding (and that's clearly aimed at us and Chelsea at the very least) - but the phrase 'luxury tax' is a bit disturbing, no details given but it sounds like another attempt at punishing us for having a wealthy owner.

Is it a problem? Are players getting raw deals whilst on loan or being marginalised?

Or is it something to penalise those clubs who are on the verge of challenging the "Blue Ribband" of Bayern, Barca and Madrid?

Make no bones about it, UEFA introduced this problem with FFP.

The only reason clubs "Stockpile" players, is so that they can turn a penny and sell them on, thus adding turnover, and profit to the accounts, to help the club pass the FFP regulations.

Yet another of example of how short-sighted UEFA were with their proposal.

I've said it before, IMO the only way to ensure fairness is to have all clubs playing to the same tune. Have a set wage budget, and a set transfer budget that all teams have to work within. None of this, according to turnover bollocks.
Exceed it and you get punished by way of points deduction.
If you're in debt, your limits are reduced etc

Interestingly, all three of those teams you mentioned have second teams playing further down their own league systems, meaning they have no need to loan out excess players that they hoard. One result of this could be a push for the bigger leagues to permit second teams playing lower down a league system, something that English football has been vehemently against.

Interestingly, all three of those teams you mentioned have second teams playing further down their own league systems, meaning they have no need to loan out excess players that they hoard.
