You are professionals and have to cope with it. It happens to every team. And i am not blind to how we are seen by our hating contingent.
I still believe we can bounce back but this is not easy to take given our capabilities.
No, I think we were awful from about 40th minute onwards, but I'm not suggesting we're somehow in the worst form of our lives and the manager should be under pressure.
We were without: Hart, Clichy, Mangala, Kompany, Zabaleta, Silva, Bony, Iheanacho and 98% of Aguero. Two goals were offside, one was appalling goalkeeping and I'm not sure how Lamella is onside when he started 20 yards off and the defender had to catch him up.
Did we deserve to lose, yes, but shit happens, every team loses and what happens next Saturday is what matters now.
No, we didn't deserve to lose to 3 very clearly offside goals and we would have had a possible draw, if the linesmen & ref hadn't clearly handed this match to the Spurs.
City's desire to play completely disappeared, after each of the offiside goals were allowed to stand. This level of ref & linesmen mistakes is completely unacceptable!!
The players knew they were purposely being cheated, after Demichelis was wrongly carded for repsectfully challenging all of Cheatinburg's wrong decisions.
Pellegrini has also risked a ban from the cheating PGMOL, by mentioning all the offiside goals, after being asked his opinion of them, in his post-match interviews.
What is the point of having FA rules, if they are NOT going to be fairly & evenly applied to City's opponents?!

A lot of people seem to ignore that
There's a distinct difference when there's a foot compared to a 2 yards.
Saying that, I wasn't confident at all when I heard the line-up. No team can give their best without the spine. It's not just the skill, it's more about the mental fortitude and experience.
so if walker had been only a foot offside that would've been okay?
I know that one call was shocking but isn't offside offside?
The further offside the player is, the easier it should be to spot. Do you disagree, mate?

Absolutely not and as I mentioned that one call especially was awful decision.
But IMO we can't/shouldn't have double standards. An offside is an offside, no? (Whoever scores)

You've summed up this situation perfectly & concisely.
The only mistake was letting Mark Clattenburg return to the PGMOL ref group, after he was sanctioned & dismissed... the ban should have been permanent!

Again, difficult, especially when PiGMOL have him by the short and curlys. They could then use him when, and how, they choose. Now though, he has more credibility and, as could've been today, choose to order the lino's to ignore anything they seen.
Integrity in big money sport isnt great and the lino today looked as though he wanted extra expenses.

It's not double standards to point out that one decision was marginal and so understandable where the other decision was farcical.

Injuries are a big issue though.

No but it is imo a bit rich to complain about an offside goal against us and then completely ignore the fact our goal was offside too

Cheatingburg was dismissed for finanical reasons, which should have meant a permanent ban... Therefore, Clat's return to reffing should have been decided by the UK financial government, rather than "PiGMOL" (by the way, I applaud & quote your perfect version of their acronym!)

Bit selfish of you really...

I knew it was gonna be a tough game, but 4-1?

We need to learn to manage games when we are in total control..... We are letting things slip time and time again.
