He'll make it somewhere in some position for us, surely. He's too good a footballer not to. Technically brilliant, better than most already and you can't really stop moves like that little drop of the shoulder where he darted towards the goal. Neither Clichy or Kolarov can do that... He'll get stronger and fill out over time and his low centre of gravity and generally robust attitude will ensure he's not easily nudged off the ball.

I do wonder if he will end up as a full back down the road. Maybe could end up a winger or a no. 10? I haven't seen enough, but will he be strong enough to be an out and out defender?

Sounds not too disimilsr to the career path of Gareth Bale. Too good for a full back so pushed further up the field

Managed to keep awake watching the second half of that dull and boring MLS game and he looked solid when he came on.

Think of Ashley Cole, has pace and energy and plenty of technical ability. Angelino is a dead cert for the first team IMO. we dont need a left back, he is the real deal.

So, is it Angelino or Angeliño?

His own pronunciation seems to be the former, but NYCFC website uses the latter.

Jose Angel Tasende, I think he prefers to be more Brazilian than Spanish, hence the INO added on. I dont think thre is a right or wrong way as its not his real name, its his preferred name choice

Of course there is a right way if it is the name he's chosen. You wouldn't say Ronaldino, would you?

This is fantastic. He's such a strikingly confident young man, and his English is impeccable. He's also a helluva lot brighter and intelligent than the average English footballer too.

I put that down to his good education at a good school.

The interview he did at City last year was very good and here he is again with a quality interview. There is no doubting he is just a young kid but his answers and manner show what a great attitude he has.

The Marcelo comparison he makes is really apt actually. Maybe not quite the same goal threat as he is yet, but theres defo similarities.

Alba! He's more Alba-like at the moment I'd say.

I remembered the name as soon as I pressed to post it and I agree he is an Alba clone.

Was hardly dull and boring. There were 5 goals and two penalties in one half.

Hopefully minus what most people know Alba for; being the worst diving/complaining/cheating cunt in the world over the last 5-10 years.
