I hope im wrong though.
Denayer should replace Kompany immediately.

Pellegrini will do no such thing, which is frustrating

As I said earlier in the thread, despite having done well in the SPL achieving YPO, it is no bench mark for the EPL and certainly no bench mark for him to be an auto start to ahead of the club captain (despite his shocking season just gone.
He is a talent, but not one to be thrown in at the deep end within a squad like ours, Mangala has been criticised for his performances by some on here (excepting the price paid for him), like Denayer he has no EPL experience, likewise you cannot argue that Portugese league is EPL level. Barring defensive injuries I suspect Mangala too wouldn't have been afforded the rabbits to headlights that he has. Listen to his interviews and he openly admits the learning curve. The one thing Denayer may have garnered from his time at Celtic might have been UCL experience (I cannot verify that as I don't know if he played in UCL at all).
To think he or any of the three SUPPOSEDLY being included in the first team SQUAD, are going to be game changers instantly is ludicrous at best.
I welcome all three, but let's not run away with ourselves here?

I was merely mentioning Pellegrini's stubborness and resistance to drop "big" players (Yaya, the captain) when their form dips and warrants being dropped and was not implying that Denayer should just be forced into the starting xi after his stint in the lowly SPL
carl_feedthegoat wrote:Wasnt dropped at all , he was coming back from a strained muscle and MDM and MANGALA were already playing x amount of games together so there was little chance he was going to take one out from the starting line up to put captain fuckup in his place...hence why he came on as a sub towards the end......

Disagree Carl. Even when he's been 'fit' he's been awful - charging around like a wild bull. With Demichelis organising Mangala it was so much more stable - haven't they played together umpteen times and never lost?
Kompany has become a bit of a liability. My hope is that he can get a rest, a full pre-season, stay fit and get back to what he was, not over-trying.

Hope it works and these lads go on to be big stars for club and country.

for everyone's bitching and moaning, mine included at times of course, this is a big big fucking deal. If any of them does anything significant next season then it's more than any other top flight clubs are doing other than Barca.
We might actually be the English Barca now. Fuck you Soccs. How do you like them apples?
cheers
