How teh club handled it was not the best. We have won 3 of our last 5 games, we are 4 points off top 4 with a game in hand and we are in our first semi since 1981. And the general way today unfolded seems typical city to me.

I go to every home game - league and cup - and a fair chunk of the away games. I also attend a few fans' forums and, from all these experiences, NEVER have I found the majority of people in attendance to be in favour of the manager being sacked. We ARE the core support and I feel as though we're not listened to. Although the foreign fans are important, and many impressive in their commitment to the cause, it's a sad day when the wishes of the core, local support are no longer taken into consideration, regardless of how much the Sheik has poured in of his own money. I said it after Sven and I'll say it again now - no more chopping, changing, dismantling and rebuilding. Things take time.
I may, of course, be wrong, but I'd be surprised if feeling among match-goers didn't reflect my suspicion.

Incorrect method of doing it.
Overall a positive move on the clubs behalf not a negative one.
A string of bad bad draws and the terrible loss at spurs cost Hughes his job.
People will cite two losses all season in his defense but in truth we were lucky to get half the draws we got recently, we have been terrible, mainly down to a total absense of a defense.
A change WAS needed.

Surely there is a descent manager out there who can take us forward, who we can trust and get behind as one, the way this has comeabout is laughable,'typical city',the shadow we are trying to throw away is back with avengence.
Crazy .
