Very true, and that shows that people are coming on the board and are prepared to vote.
I wouldn't expect people to change their minds over the course of 2 weeks or for 2 wins, however what I would expect is some of those 72 to change their vote from Yes to Not Sure/Yet if we get a result against Bolton, and even more so if we do well against Spurs.
I think you will find that plenty of the fence sitters who were temporarily on the Hughes out side have jumped from one side to the other after those two wins - many have commented to that effect on this and other threads.
So you feel that a win against Arsenal and Chelsea wouldnt sway people's opinions, yet a win against Bolton would make everything alright?
Points wise, I would agree it makes things better, but the fact that we are having a defensive shocker again wouldnt come into it for most because people seem to only see the result rather than the underlying issues. I made my decision to wave him bye bye over the first 4 months of last season not based on results, but based on the shite I saw on the pitch over a prolonged period, and it will take something similar in terms of consistency of performance on the opposite direction before I even considered changing my mind.
