So , let me get this right , you would probably keep the manager of one of the most expensive teams in the world even though he won NOTHING this year and wins NOTHING next year.
You put the M in Mental mate.

Carl that's what United have done . so too Arsenal, both were expensive teams to build[/q
Times have changed mate , its not yesteryear anymore where patience was accepted.
We are in the same boat as the Madrids and Barcelonas of the world...success or progress is a must to keep a manager in place.I have no argument overall with Mancinis management in the prem even if we are boring to watch more often than not this season but the CL is a real must in the sense that we have to progress to reach the revenues and extra fan base we need.
The way we played this year in the CL was fucking terrible, not having learnt anything from last year and someone needs to be brought to book over it...thats Mancini.

Carl i agree with what you write probably 99 % of the time. However as John68 might say "Rome wasn't built in a day"
I just do not think that now , before a big game , is the right time to discuss the merits of the manager or the team.
Now is the time to concentrate all our energies on "Slaying the dragon" ,
The rest is like Greg Allman sang..., "Wasted words"

...and folks, we have yet another post from our positive friend who has yet to post anything nice about us.

No sweat. He's lined up to replace Mourinho anyway.
You're right to suggest I'm not overawed by Mancini's abilities. He impresses in patches.
City could do more than that, in my honest. They could dominate the next ten years. I just can't see Mancini doing that.
