i.e.
Weiss filled a quota for the CL of being club home grown
AJ filled a quota for the CL & PL of being domestic home grown

it looked almost crystal clear that he was a replacement for AJ. he's a winger and should provide
width..but Bobby doesn't use wingers. he uses wing backs.
i honestly think that it was purely to replace the loss of an englishman (AJ) to keep our quota
up. i literally can't think of anything.
phips wrote:so you're telling me that a club that has invested so highly in our squad would buy third choice players? isn't there someone outside of Mancini to be unbiased and say, "hey roberto, we know you didn't get Hazard and Martinez but these guys just aren't good enough and/or worth the price"
I'm actually curious. cuz it seems like Sinclair especially and maybe Garcia are definitely not good enough for our
club given our current squad and lofty ambitions...maybe they will improve and be good enough, but then maybe not.
i really don't see this club as buying for the sake of buying at this point..yet Sinclair (and Richard Wright) is here and
it definitely looks like Mancini doesn't favor him at all. plus, in all the Inside City's since he's arrived I always see him keeping
to himself and not really conversing. it doesn't look like he fits skill wise or personalty wise or w/e else...

Well, all I'm saying is that I think it is pretty well known that we were after hazard, after sanchez, after martinez and after de rossi. We didn't get any of those players. Only after it was known we didn't get those players, that we hear about garcia and sinclair.
I have no idea how things work in city's backroom, but I do believe that Mancini was not in charge of transfers. It might be that Mancini submitted lists, or maybe just some individual players, maybe he asked for certain player types and relied on scouting reports to come up with player profiles that Marwood/Mancini decided on ... no idea. We do know that Mancini was bent out of shape enough to go to the media about Marwood shitting the bed in terms of signings, leads me to believe the players coming in were not what he wanted at all.
Maicon and Nasti get games ... over established players. Garcia and Sinclair? they have not featured in an important game in any way ... although garcia might have been included in a game because of injury? I can't remember clearly. That's evidence to me that Mancini had nothing to do with bringing them in, and he considers it a failure. I dunno, maybe he signed off on a potential transfer list never dreaming we'd go so far down the pecking order ... like I said ... I have absolutely no idea how things are run, that's just my opinion, which I feel is supported by some of what is going on.

He's clearly not rated, a bag of wank, or perhaps....wait for it....both.

haha .. they've cut down on the civil war reenactments in Taiwan recently, don't know why ... it's a shame! I get why your messages are always so direct though, death is only a door away in Florida.
wank and not rated ... is looking about right, hopefully just the later, or who will buy him?
