Hughes lost me following the Spurs game. He hadnt a clue what he was doing that night and clearly couldnt make his mind up as to what his best team should be.
Great to see Niall back on form today.
Hughes is a grade a bullshitter, he can't help himself - who the fuck does he think he is? This press conference is just like old times, I have never particularly liked Fulham, but I feel a strange affinity with the sort of rage their fans will soon be feeling at the pathetic excuses and bullshit that spews forth from his fucking gob.
And god help them if al Fayed gives the cunt any money from the sale of Harrods, of course we all know he needs 6 transfer windows etc etc.
God I hate that man
funny thing is that.....these days I think you are spot on in most football related content you post
when Hughes was in charge I thought completely the opposite and that you were just blindly prejudicial as you hated him (....as you know....that is/was far from unique to you)
retrospectively I can well accept that sometimes when i thought you were wrong you were spot on (as I...and likely others...discounted what you were saying due to the fact that it was clear that Hughes could do no right in some people's eyes) .....but law of averages would dictate that your unequivocably anti-Hughes line was equally massively out of kilter with reality much of the time
i've never known opinion to be so polarised in such a way that reality was actually distorted for so many.....(in both directions)
I miss the rows now!!
No i know where you are coming from pal, back then in utter furstration, many of us on both sides said things that we wouldnt say to another blue normally, but I think thats the benefit of the forum in that although I was pissed off, I vented my spleen on here rather than projecting my negativity to those around me and thus onto the pitch.
I see the forum as a valuable social function where people can let off steam by debate rather than battling at the ground - although I did see such battling near me at the Hamburg game over Hughes, something I would hope not to see againj
As much as I like a good row, I'd rather that didnt happen again - although with the style of footy on offer, I dont think another similar situation is far round the corner unfortunately.
