Basically we played it safe all game
Not surprisingly I suppose

Maybe Hants luck is not cut for running threads, we seriously need to find a sub for Mase to keep winning streak going. We need to keep him fresh for big games

That’ll do. Dead rubber and kept it that way.

Both teams played to ensure the status quo was kept and even though the ref tried his hardest to make it some kind of game, his officiating was made redundant as the back 5 and nearly back 5 just didn’t want to be humiliated again.

Into the draw, let’s see what awaits.

Main thing was not to get anyone injured. I presume Laporte was substituted to give Mbete a few minutes.

Didn't really live up to a dead rubber really did it. Rubber just wasn't there.

Nice cameos by the kids under pressure. Mcatee in the congested zone with some nice play, and the RT back at the end there.
Mcatee coming along well.

In my defence my track record previously hasn't been too bad, nowhere near JC's spuds debacle.

Today was a damp squib even before KO so had we lostbit would have very much been on Pep and the team

Close the curtains, should only be mentioned in relation to Rags and Dippers.

Jesus is a squad player (he accepts this) and will be very hard to replace. He never complains, will run until he drops, etc... I would keep him.

Sterling can go. We cannot rely on him. He gets himself into deadly positions but cannot pull the trigger. At his age this is unlikely to improve. We just cannot afford that, it has cost us in the past and will again in the future. He was at it again on Wednesday. Also Sterling will never see himself as a squad player, he views himself as an elite player and wants to be paid accordingly. If he could finish he would be an elite player but he cannot so he needs to move on.
