Social media has boomed since this site began, a lot of people discuss City on Twitter or other platforms. The “originals” of this site are now married with kids and have little time to post. More City forums popping up since we became “big”.

Are forums still a thing?
To be honest, this is the only one I go on a regular basis. The rest from time to time when I need something.
Discord is not my cup of tea, neither FB groups, even if I spend a lot of time lurking on social media due to my job.

Discord is a good shout. Patreon as well. Forums will likely eventually die out, like ‘chat rooms’ have.
