You’ve literally got upset about me quoting Pep?
Let’s not clog the board with you being offended about me posting quotes from a manager on a football forum (shock horror!!).

If you want to cry more then PM me. I don’t want to be responsible for you adding to your 145 brilliant posts in a short 14 years.

OK, job done, I'm out of here. I'll ll leave you to your fucking whinging about our most successful manager and period ever. You fucking wet wipe.

Genuine question, do you not feel like slapping Pep when he constantly ball licks the opposition plates? It's like he fucking motivates them against us, do you really not find it irritating?

Some people take pointing out where Pep could improve as a personal attack, they’re that obsessed.

I don't think it makes the slightest bit of difference. Do you honestly think him saying Veratti is a good player made him play better? When did he even say it, before or after the game? From my experience it's usually talking down a team or player that makes them try harder.

And no, I don't find it irritating, as the vast majority of what Pep says is about City and is positive. What I find irritating is people pouncing on a single comment form a long interview and making out its an insult to the fans.

Is he perfect, no he is not, but he is very good at his job., maybe even the best around at the moment. Personally, I think Sterling is badly out of form and it's costing us. I also think Stones should replace Laporte as soon as he is fit. I think we are OK without a Sergio replacement for now. But that's just my opinion, not fact. Pep has to manage those decisions and I'm happy he doing it.

I'm not obsessed with him. I am a city fan.

You’ve shown how sensitive you are by using the term “pouncing”. Pep get your hard Lynne Would?

Making a comment about what annoys me after him doing it numerous times and me not commenting on it is “pouncing” Top work Lynne.

It’s all subjective on a forum. Just because something doesn’t annoy you doesn’t mean that it won’t annoy 99% of other City fans.

The main reason for not contributing is that I am generally happy to read others opinions and get differing views. Also I'm a bit lazy and can't be arsed. I also tend not to log in for quite long periods and then might do so every day for a while.

The over riding comments at the moment seem to be anti Pep. It annoys the fuck out of me and makes me want to comment.

Even before we lost the chumps league this seemed to be the consensus for many. I was majorly pissed off we lost but since it got ridiculous. I have defended him and get called obsessed along with a few shit school boy type insults.

I'd argue he hasn't won the champions League in 11 years or so, that's not a great record. Im not anti Pep and don't want him to leave, however picking on fans, over praising opposition and playing players out form can easily be rectified, I think he's stubborness gets in the way for being even better.

Champions League , the one time European Cup , is not important. It brings money . Although one year scouse won it by getting a bye in the first round and only played four more rounds i think, before the final. Winning any CL final will never be better than winning that FA CUP and forcing the rags to take down their 34 years banner. Then to go and decimate them on their own turf and 93.20. The CL is great for going around Europe and seeing the sights.

Give me a PL title , or even an English treble above any corrupt money and spin based tournament like the CL.

First season , when he arrived , i had my doubts, but the football we have played since then had been magical.

I would add that it is unfair to judge Pep's CL record with us.
The competition is corrupt and we have been blatantly cheated on several occasions.
Liverpool and Spurs knockouts were an absolute disgrace, totally corrupt. Against Lyon Sterling missed a sitter and VAR had a couple of dodgy decisions. Monaco I think caught us on the hop (but that was Pep's first year i.e. new way of playing) and last year he messed up with the team selection.

So three of those knockouts were corrupt, one was his first season, last year was his fault.

Corrupt?
Thought the English game is corrupt too, we keep banging about how they want the vermins and rags win the league with dodgy refereeing etc!

World football would say champions League is bigger than FA cup, whether you like or not , our owners brought him to play attacking football, create an identity and at same time win the champions League. Do you think all that investment is just to win the Fa cup over champions League? You have your opinion, that's fine, but in the eyes of football it's seen differently.

So is it corruption or selection? Don't get me started on Lyon. Yes the vermins and spuds dodgy refereeing decisions cost us but Lyon and the final that's down on Pep.
Not going to argue corruption, however why didn't he win it with Bayern Munich? He had a great side and I'm pretty sure corruption would have worked in his favour. Didn't the next manager win it with same squad?
Why all this defensive attitude when some of Peps flaws are pointed out? Again, some of it are of his own doing, all I'm saying they are fixable but his stubnorness gets the better of him.
