It’s like having your younger brother as last pick, he costs you the game and forever he is known as a twat.

I will never fault him for effort, I am now thinking without that what else does he have. He links nothing could not pass water lack of quality kills any MF that dares to make a run off him. I know it’s harsh but he has nothing to fall back on his basics are running and durability. The level he is at is in my opinion below what KDB Foden and Jack need in a game. Put him with Kane he is different gravy. Last night does not define the season we just see where our issue is clearly.

I do believe that Pep sees this (finally) hence my earlier comment about him (not) starting on Sunday. I'm hoping it was a pragmatic approach last night, a game we did not need to win that gave him a chance to rest the workers of Foden and Jesus in order that they were fresh for Sunday. Go balls out against scouse and we are sitting pretty once more

both goals last night came from him conceding possession.
miscontrolled ball in the middle of the park for their first.
we were breaking before their second and got possession and stopped before we lost it. he cost us the game last night. quite simply not good enough anymore

At end of the day, you can sugar coat it as much as you like, he isn't good enough to start, we keep losing everytime he does. What he achieved in the past is irrelevant.

I can forgive him if he could produce a moment of magic even when playing shit, he isn't Messi, Tranny or even KDB

I'd have give him 20 minutes on the right, at that left back cos he was bang average.

We've been persisting with playing him through the middle for over three years and it's obvious that it's not working. It's not his position and he's not good enough. The baffling thing is (and it's where I have sympathy for him) is that Pep still keeps doing it. If we want to build his confidence and get him back to somewhere near what he was, we have to play him on the right. The problem there is we have Torres, Mahrez and now Jesus ahead of him in that position so it's unlikely to happen. Best for all concerned now that he moves on. He needs a new club that will play him in his best position. Do that and someone may have a decent player on their hands again.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

One or two fans on here think he’s temporarily off form and wasn’t as shit as most of us like to believe , one even thinks he’s only been bad for half a season !!!

2 years he’s been shit and has just about cost us the most important games when he’s played and he deserves all the slagging off that’s going his way —- baldie once again fucked up , not by just playing him but also by not even taking the little gimp off when he should have come off !!!

What is wrong with all of this is the favoritism Baldie shows towards him. It sends all of the wrong messages to the rest of the squad.
The players voted him out of the captaincy ranks, what more does he want to understand Sterling, like the lump of shit who is in prison, Is one of our weakest links.

I'm still waiting for them to tell me why isn't Torres selected ahead of him, does he really deserve to be on the bench behind Sterling? So we keep playing a player way out for form until he finds his form and the player on form is benched, where is the logic in that?
It's not an agenda against Sterling, he's got to earn his place like everyone else, sadly he isn't good enough as things go.

Last night is more reason to believe PG will never ever win the CL with us.
Ever .

On a Side note : I thought he was having an orgasm when he spoke about Messi in his post match interview .

Lovely .

You can name that poster, pal, and I’ll stick by my statement. Sterling seemed to fall off a cliff around March last season. Prior to that he was still contributing towards the play and getting plenty of goals and assists. He’s one of ours and England’s most utilised players, who rarely gets a rest. I won’t go into his stats prior to this period as they speak for themselves.

The difference with Sterling compared to others is that when he has an off day then there’s a pile on. The media would have been there if he didn’t call them out so it’s left for the echo chamber every time he fluffs a chance or loses a ball.

Everybody can see that his form is poor and most would admit that he shouldn’t be an automatic first choice. However, we have to accept that the manager may want to play him back into form, which we have no choice over, and we can only hope that it kicks back in for the betterment of the team and the boards well-being ;-)

Pep is showing faith more than I would. It will turn as it always does sooner rather than later. For Raheem it must be difficult as his basics are just not there to fall back on. It will be funny if in shit form he clicks tomorrow.

No chance, the egotistical maniac is an avid reader of this forum and will only allow Razza on the bench with a bucket underneath him in case he is asked to warm up.

Got a feeling Pep is going to start him tomorrow..

Just read an article on Pep warning Barcelona about playing Garcia so soon, stating his lack of experience. Basicaly giving them a Heads up.

So Pep obviously did sees Garcia was a bit shit.

Ten it begs the question why he played Garcia in games for us, when better defenders were available.

Maybe he is his fucking Catalonian Love Child.

Jesus or Torres better options.
But I wouldn't be surprised if he did start him, it's like something he would do, to prove a point.

I will be amazed if Sterling starts tomorrow.
He played in the CL so someone else's turn tomorrow.
He missed an easy chance on Tuesday.
The front 4 will probably be Brown, Foden, Grealish and Jesus (maybe Mahrez or Torres but unlikely).

No way will it be Sterling, Pep may be stubborn but he does not have a death wish - yet again on Tuesday Sterling could not finish when it mattered.
