Apologies for the slight delay in posting this, beer was involved! I’m looking forward to this one, I just hope the International break doesn’t cause us too many problems. I have not had chance to catch up on the press conference yet, so as I write this, I don’t know who is in or out for the game. Whoever the final 11 are, I think we can come away with all three points. I like Palace, but detest Pardew, he needs to be put in his place. The home fans can’t decide what they think will happen, but there does seem to be an air of confidence around them this week.

Now…COME ON CITY !!!

Team Selection

McCarthy
Ward Dann Delaney Souare
McArthur Cabaye
Zaha Puncheon Sako
Bolasie

My favourite

This can only end in tears!

Referee

Mike Jones, from Chester, will be in charge

And the rest…

City are by far the form team in the league and playing some breath taking football, if we made a mistake against arsenal it was thinking we could take them on. City IMO are ligh years ahead of anyone right now and for me will piss the league by a big margin.

I would start cautious.4-5-1

Palace 2-1 Man City, same as last season

City are in hot form, but based on our performance today i would say we are favourites

To be the first team to score against them this season would be nice, anything points wise a massive bonus

Football is largely about confidence… Both teams are flying, although there will have been a break. First goal crucial and we could do it but I’d take a point. City are a top class side who are flying, Chelsea are a top class side with problems. Can’t wait though should be a cracking game, could well be first on motd again, although with this Palace side I can see that happening a lot this season. Heady days to be enjoyed and cherished. Trust me, you’ll be boring your kids and gran kids about this Palace side…

As for the Man City game, well we beat Chelsea on their own turf, so the Home match against Man City could be interesting??

If we beat them 4-0 we go top on goal difference. Lol

Can we sing ‘ we’ll be top at 5 o ‘clock’ ‘ or is this too unrealistic?

Man City 4 games 4 wins 10 goals to zilch playing Palace at their home game after an international break is a recipe for their disaster: I’m predicting a great game with Palace winning 2-3. The stars have been aligned for CPFC the last 5 years and have shown that nothing can get in the way of this club’s rise to the top – sure bet.

The good news is we have one player in the Sky Sports “Power Rankings” top 10 going into Saturday’s game. The bad news is that Man City have 8.

I treat everything Pardew says about injuries with a pinch of salt, if it suits him he will hint that Wickham or Chamack are not fit then play them (nothing wrong with getting any kind of edge you can in my book)

Toure will go through us like a hot knife through butter if we have no plans to take him out of the game.

City have their own defensive injury crisis and may have to play central defenders as full-backs against the flying Palace wingers. To me this is a key factor in how the match will pan out as Palace have a clear pace advantage over the City defenders.

Not optimistic, but we keep exceeding expectations. A point would still be good

If we can stop City scoring early and go in level at half time I think we can either draw or win but we have to stop them scoring early.

All getting a bit bizarre. Colin Warnock on Talksport saying we can finish in the top 6 and certainly top 8.Looking at the odds for the game on Saturday the betting lady said if anyone can beat Manchester City it will be Palace. Facing their toughest game of the season.
