The Chavs are not happy at the moment, and just a tiny bit paranoid. On the plus side, it makes very entertaining reading how the world is again them, and their manager is the messiah. Think that game against Liverpool has just had a negative effect on this City game now. Looks like Cesc collided with Terry and soon after had to come off, and if I’m not mistaken that yellow for Oscar means that he’s banned for the game too. So, for discussion’s sake, lets say both are out. I think that forces Mikel and Matic and Ramires to be the midfield three, with Hazard and WIllian on the wings with Costa up front. I’d also like to see Azpi and Zouma start.
This is the game where Ramires makes his barnstorming comeback. The sparks are going to fly with one player, most likely one of City’s defensive midfielders, getting an early bath.

Think I’d rather go with Remy than Drogba. Think he offers a greater threat getting behind Man City who will need to come out and attack us in all likelihood. Every time Fabregas gets the ball he looks forward for the ball over the top. That’s where we can stretch them and I don’t think Drogba has the pace to worry them.
I will go for mentality this game and Drogba has it. Remy has the pace on his side and the movement but it’s a hard game to prove your point, I think that can get to him. I can already see a scenario of him being subbed off early in the second half. Perhaps some negativity but I don’t think this will be his game at all. Drogba was slow and lacked movement at Old Trafford, I think if Costa had played we would have won the game, however Drogs still came out with the only goal that game or us. I think this is his game, I have full confidence Drogba will step up for this, I would give Didier the nod.
Think Jose will use the Costa charge, and Redknapps attack on us, to rebuild the siege mentality.
Looks like a tricky one for us, potentially a number of key players out, an extra time game on Tuesday, and no squad players are challenging for a start ( apart from Zouma in my view). Ramires will play, if Cesc is in, I think Oscar will miss out again. I think it will be a 1:1 again.

Remy was signed as our ss so give him an opportunity now that one has appeared. He’s done well in his very limited opportunities so let’s see how he copes on Saturday. Back 5 I think should be the strongest 5 available. Azpi, Terry, Cahill and Iva with Courtois in goal.

There is a clear campaign going against us. I mean this is ridiculous two clear penalties were denied their 2 players should have been sent off . They didn’t ignore it. The ref gave a free kick in the match so no retrospective action could be taken. The same thing happened with the Wigan player Callum McManaman.Mourinho knew his fine was coming and it was deserved.Costa will get banned because he probably meant to stamp on Skrtl. I think the City team will include Lampard over Fernando and I don’t expect Jovetic to start. I don’t see us conceding but om the other hand if Fabregas and Costa are out I don’t see how we will either unless Remy starts. The only advantage in playing Drogba is set pieces and mentality. But in open play Remy for me. I feel a 0-0 with a sending off for City. Also any ideas on what the reception for Lamps will be like.
