The view from the Away End

The away end is sold out for this one, so it should be a decent atmosphere from the Mackems, hangovers permitting of course.  I can’t find much confidence of anything more than a point from this game, but I can see three points in our future.  I can’t imagine the Count will settle for anything less after what happened on Boxing Day.

On a separate note, I want to wish all fellow blues a simply marvellous New Year, and here’s to plenty of (drunken) celebrations in 2015.

Happy New Year, and COME ON CITY !!!

My Favourite

There is never a good time to play Man City really.

And the rest…

Given the way City let a two goal lead slip against Burnley I think it could be argued that we’re playing them at a good time, confidence might have dropped a bit, possibly no yaya, definitely no aguero. On the other hand though they might come flying out and then not get complacent if they take a lead. Can’t really decide either way, what does everyone else reckon?

They were outstanding against us in the last game. IMHO the best team I have seen against us this season. I know what you mean, the Burnley game was their bad one, they won’t do it again.

Spirits are high – not expecting a walk, but not a capitulation neither – good time

We wont come near scoring so 0-0 is the best we can hope for. Which would be a great result

I really can’t see us scoring yet I also can’t think Man City won’t score taking into account we can’t score and we tend to park our bus on the edge of our own penalty area.

We’ll head into it unbeaten in 2015

I fear a battering if we just sit deep and invite them onto us.

If ever there is a game to have a go at changing things it’s this one, we saw how they tore us apart at home, lets give them something to worry about instead of relying on a counter or set piece and sit off them.

For me we should go with no fear at all, it’s one of them games where you probably think we won’t get anything and I don’t think we can expect a 0-0 in this one.

Let’s for once be positive.

They will pass us to death and we won’t get near them

City will beat us comfortably, 2 or 3 nil, without getting out of second gear.

lets face it we are right up against it big style but like last season you never know with us …

It will be a major, major surprise if we get anything from this game..Everything crossed though..

Wel get absolutely raped

If Toure and Kompany don ‘t make it (having late fitness tests) then we’ve a chance. We need to believe like last year. We were dead and buried when we went there and came away with a point. It is do-able but will be very tough. I’m not expecting anything out of the game but hopeful of points in the next 3 games if we play to our maximum.

Maybe our ManC cast offs can come up with performances to punish them. City have a fragile streak as shown against Burnley who had nothing to lose and went for it and got the unlikely point.

The only thing I regret about New Year’s Day is helping Chelsea extend their lead in the league.Apologies in advance City for beating ya’s.

How about an absolutely outrageous game where we win 3- 0 and  see the faces on MOTD

Chitty away is a hope rather than expect game. If you support Sunderland you learn to live in hope…we will be having a good game if I stay and watch the whole match.
