At the moment Fernadinho seems the choice but whatever Pep says you cant rule out a dive in the transfer market for say Koulibaly. Cancelo is defensively sounder than Walker imo. That leaves Left Back our big weakness. Can Mendy show us why we paid all that money. Angelino certainly wont play so if not Mendy it would be Zinchenko. Just not sure about him defensively. We certainly are good enough to get through this draw. Promised a ticket for the home tie already. Cant wait.

This is why I hate drawing one of the so-called Royalty. It's not just 2 teams fighting it out, it's 2 teams with one getting the benefits from their cartel minions.

I'll be honest and say that I put this above the PL, at the moment. Nothing to do with pur current position but more to do with this bollox of having to have won it to actually get any credit. It would be good to see how the media react and how we would be hailed as the best team in Europe, probably the world.

The club are going all out to win the CL this year.
It is the only priority for us - you can see it in our PL performances, the way the intensity has dropped, etc...
These two games come in the middle of a really tough PL schedule - watch our lineups - CL will be priority 1.

We have a great chance - even with VAR
We are still favs with the bookies, I would expect our odds to lengthen. When they do I am putting a fair sized bet down.

The home CL match is on March 17 not March 10. It will be three days after the home match against Burnley. No travelling. Of course not ideal but mid week CL ties never are. You hope for a comfortable Saturday match, take off a couple after 60 minutes etc.
