It may have been an arrogant mistake by Pep, but on the other hand he may have received medical advice that KDB needed a rest.
Equally, playing your strongest team, building a leaf and then resting key players is great if you do build a lead, but if it is still nil nil after 70 minutes, do gour leave them on or bring on the second string?
