Yeh I agree. I think he'd be a top signing. He's a dangerous player and could be a real star if he continues to progress over the next few years. Hope it comes off. Has Moses gone anywhere yet? I was hoping we'd snap him up for a good price as well while Palace were desperate for cash.

Wigan got him for 2.5 million. We must not have bid, I would think we could have outbid them for him if we really wanted him.

The fact that moses went for 2.5 mil without any of the big english clubs going in for him at that price says to me the big boy scouts still arn't convinced hes up to the standards of top flight footy. i'll watch how moses does with great interest though. could be a great investment on wigans part.

Thats annoying. He'll be a star Moses. I really believe that. 2.5 is a snip. We should have gone in for him. Especially after loaning out Robbie and Weiss. No doubt he'll cost us 20 mill is 2 years time.

Moses is brilliant talent BUT he is still raw as fook and will need lot of games and coaching at this level before he can step up to play in top 6 team.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I agree with above he still has a lot to learn and I wonder if he could play at the level he played at in the cup every week in the prem. Look at the guy who came from Leeds to Villa (the name escapes me) done fuck all this season but will probably be a decent player in the future. We can't buy every youngster who looks half decent though otherwise we would have 100+ players to choose from. We gotta pick the best of the bunch and Johnson I think was a good call for a bid from us.

Also, does this mean his shirt name will be "A Johnson" given that we've got one of them Johnson-types already?

just sayin. has a nice ring to it.

cheers

he will just use the squad number 6 and the shirt is already printed, the other fella never uses it.
