We said Denayer, Arsenal heard Sterling.

That's your average Gooner. Ignorant, arrogant, inarticulate and wrong. That club is just about to be flushed down the shithole. Perhaps they can write another letter to the PL on headed notepaper (along with the dippers, rags and spuds) this time complaining about Wenger ruining their club. Bitter cunts, suck on these lemons.

Seems like a nice bloke.
Sounds a little worried to me though.

I really hope Sterling isn't in the deal as I think it's a step backwards - my thoughts though are that if Arsenal are even considering selling Sanchez even with designs on a swap for Sterling or Aguero then they are considering a side without him, which means he's available for transfer no matter how much smoke is blown over who they want. If we get him I would want him whilst retaining Aguero & Sterling - fuck knows how you keep them all happy mind!

So much for the ''Jesus , Sane and Sterling are the future of this club'' if this goes through.
I like AS but ffs , not at the loss of Sterling...............its madness and hypocritical of PeP imo.

I'm normally sanguine on players & managers but have to agree that a swap or even pushing noses out of joint makes no sense and just looks short term - I want Pep to succeed but agree I wouldn't believe a fucking word that Pep said if it went through & Sterling ended up at Arsenal - makes no logical sense from a managerial perspective but I think the club have thrown all their eggs in a Pep shaped basket & his ego is dictating too much - need a Mercer to his Allison

I think it's utter bull shit. You can't hold this against Pep unless there are clear evidence that it's true.

I can't believe anyone think's we would even contemplate including Sterling in a deal, not a chance of us selling Sterling.

My only issue is that City haven't come out today and just called the bullshit exactly what it is. Just come out and say "Sterling isn't going anywhere". That's what other clubs do. Yet we just keep quiet making it worse.

Agree. Sterling is brittle enough last thing we want is him not feeling loved. An unequivocal NO is whats required. Id take sterling over sanchez anyway given there reapective ages and potential etc.

Haven't they spefically said that aguero isn't for sale - ominously omitting sterling from the statement or is that more paper bullshit

Just shows how a few misplaced words in the press however untrue or full of shit they are will get people clicking on them and believing them.
Unless Sterling himself has asked to go back to London it will be pure speculation.

If this is the case NB and Arsenal are quoting £70 million + for Sanchez, we ought to value Sterling at £150 million for starters.
After all, Whinger's much renowned war chest can easily afford it.

The club let it be known through Simon Mullock in The Mirror, he's the club's go-to guy in the MSM.

That's not what I said though mate. "City haven't come out today and just called the bullshit exactly what it is." City. I don't believe anything that comes out of anyone's mouth with a press pass.

Not that I know who's who in the twittersphere but what I was reading this afternoon was that the club made it clear that the suggestion of swaps came from Arsenal and City made it clear it was a cash deal only and they weren't interested in sending anyone to Arsenal in return for Mr. Sanchez who they most definitely are interested in.
That's what my sources say.
Trust me. I'm pondlife.

Fair enough, but the club don't speak to the fans about anything, so I wouldn't expect them to start announcing stuff in the middle of negotiations.

Matt Law at the Telegraph saying Arsenal players want them to sell Alexis and are tired of the saga.
