Not sure who to cheer for.

On one hand want spuds to win so Chelsea's run is derailed and so they don't get any further in front. On the other hand, places for the top 4 are under real pressure this year and with the officiating the way it is, spuds losing ground on us is no bad thing.

Probably a draw is best, but with multiple cards, a brawl like last year, injuries to Costa and Fabregas keeping them out for the season, (harsh I know, but I'll make an exception for that pair) and the FA to dock points from both teams for failing to control their players

chelsea are on a final warning for failing to control their players following the handbags at our place last month. any major incident tonight and they will have points deducted. if spuds are smart...

There are final warnings and then there are final warnings.

Get in!

Stopping the chav's win streak would be great, and as long as spuds can now hold off 2 goals it'll still be a very good day.

It'll be interesting to see the second half performance from the officials now. Well done Spuds.

I remember in 2011 when we lost at Chelsea, 2-1, Wilkins, who was in the studio back that said something like: A win for the league.

I wonder if Spurs will win tonight how many will say that?

I must say I do like Dele Ali. Any midfielder who chips in with a goal every four games or so on average is alright in my book. Spuds scouting network got a polished gem there.

Keep up the excellent work PBL; so far so good.

If this all works out to City's advantage tonight, you may have use your 'gambling skill' in key games in the future, although your bank account may suffer......... ;)

I often wonder about putting money on the rags and dippers. Logic being if they win then so does my Betfair account. But I just can't bring myself to do it

Mmmm....I hadn't thought this through properly PD.

If we started a collection, PBL's punting skills might suddenly flourish with greater experience and he could end up making a profit, which would then be to City's detriment.

I think I'd better put the dunce's cap on and go stand in the corner

I have to say, a great piece of reffing there for the Spuds second. Could easily have given a freekick.

That's as maybe, but Spurs deserve credit for actually playing him. Mentioned this in another thread, but would we have played him? I really doubt it.

Took both headers really well. A little bit of Tim Cahill about him the way he seems to ghost into the box and rise just at the right moment.

Just before the Spuds' second goal, was Chelsea's penalty call for the supposed foul on Moses, a valid one ??

Also likes to leave his foot in like Cahill as well. We could certainly use him in our midfield.

Congrats on the legend as well notts, well deserved.

Luis is looking like his old, precarious self. I hope he carries this form on for the rest of the season.
