Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

We're still incredibly vounrable at the back, but the season is young. It’s encouraging that the players seem to be buying into Pep's ideas and are willing to put in the extra effort required.
Absolutely.
However, I can live with being vulnerable at the back, provided the forward players look like scoring every time we attack.
At the moment, it all seems so pleasingly promising - as though we were witnessing the threshold of a new dawn.

To think I was concerned about this tie and how we might get caught cold!
This is as easy in the CL as it will get. A nice big fat cigar on for the rest of the game

Big difference for me is that we are looking to play fast ball forward far more often that before. Much less tippy-tappy from side to side. May be indicative of the opposition, but once the teams settles on the new tactics, I see a lot of goals coming in this system.

Some always were but during Pellegrini as well but it was obvious that they got frustrated with some of the other player's complete lack of team spirit and stopped caring as especially the last season progressed.

It's gone very sloppy since the third goal. Just need to keep hold of the ball. Often happens when it's such a stroll.

We went all out attack and were scoring for fun in the first half year under Pellegrini as well. Just saying, cause a lot of people have short memories and we shouldn't get too giddy. Hell, we even began last season like we were totally invincible.

We are playing good, BUT DON'T GET AHEAD OF OURSELVES
This team is poor, as I said many times, Stancu is their only good player. They are a poor team, mediocre at their best, they are a Championship team, maybe 6 in the second league.
I hope this game will help our morale and will help us build on this. A good old scoring game will be nice.

btw...
Remember the idea we can't play both KDB and Silva together because they are both best at being no. 10's.
They are as KDB said in a "roaming 8" role, but when we have the ball, they surely are more like two no. 10's.
I think we should watch for this development over the season.

I'm driving so haven't seen a minute of this. Having to put up with talkshite. But they've done nothing but wank themselves silly over how we've played, they're absolutely loving us.
Is it that good?

Glad he is staying. Thought he would leave if I'm being honest, but like a couple of others seems to have a new lease of life

Generally....yes. Bossed it with some drop off the last 10 minutes. Should be 5-0.

Similar to last season, could have had 7, not complaining BTW, like watching a dream team going forward.
