What a remarkably odd way of looking at things.

England was the head of the empire. The bully. The daddy. Whatever way you want to phrase it.
Of course the countries who were/are under your leadership will love getting one over on you.
I wouldn't take it personally.
It happens across the spectrum. If the bully gets knocked over everyone laughs. If the bully laughs at a smaller kid's misfortune then he's an even bigger cunt.
You can't win lads!
eh?
Do you really think English schools teach the same version of English history as the former colonies?
Do you think schools in the USA teach the same version of history as Vietnam or Korea?
If you do, look at Julie Walters on Who Do You think you are.
She, same as the average English person, had no idea of what went on in the colonies.
Just like your average American will be mystified by the reactions from several countries
In the years to come. As far as the guy in the USA is concerned they are helping everybody.
That's why your average English person does not get it.
eh?

It's been fucking annoying.
Not for the first time, he's said "just about stayed onside" for a player who actually stayed onside. If the player was "just about onside" then he'd be offside you fucking moron.

i gave up with his snide comment about Schweinis knees. Jeez , he may well have missed a lot of the rags season, but if he was injured , then he was injured . This jerk was trying to make some case for him pretending to be injured . Just snide unnecessary remarks .
btw i couldn't care less about Schweini .

Mussi really was crap at defending. Didn't fit with the Catenaccio concept.

Actually i have had awful food in both Italy and France. It really is quite easy to get poor food in these countries.

That's very true, especially in regards to France.
I meant the general cuisine, though (although I'm quite fond of Schweinshaxe and Schnitzel as well...)

You just get the feeling that if Germany can't get it done in 120, Italy are going to steal it in the penalty shootout.
