He is going on loan. This transfer won't have any impact on our team.

I have a major mancrush on this guy. I hope Pep at least has a look at him.

Finally some sense from someone who has at least seen the guy play. Mooy is class and and I've seen him show it whenever he played for Melbourne City or for Australia. The only surprise is that it has taken so long for a big club to recognise his talent ( he did play for Bolton for a while !!). JS and WW have seen him play and I see that they are willing to give him a fair go. I'm sure pre-season will be a good test for him.
Definitely not a starter for City this season but with Nasri and eventually Silva on their way out (sooner or later) he is an ideal replacement for next season and beyond and I can't wait to see him play in City Blue (Melbourne actually play in white due to some stupid ruling by Football Australia !!).

Let me get this right.
People who follow football are suggesting a guy who was released by St Mirren will make it at City?

It's...interesting.

Cheers

I've also watched him loads of times and I'd be blown over if he played a single minute of a league game for us. Hope I'm wrong as it would do us wonders over here, but don't see it personally.
Tracking back is overrated.

He had a breakthrough year. His stats were comparable to Ozil's last season.
He's worth looking at. That's all.

Ozil doesn't play in Australia though, does he? So their stats are hardly comparable, really

Could well be, he takes the Championship by storm and we sell him at a nice tidy profit next summer on the back of that. Who knows?
