LINESMAN FLAGGED FOR OFFSIDE AND THE REF IGNORED IT AND GAVE THE GOAL ANYWAY.,
FUCKING CHEAT.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

This is where the new offside rule makes a mockery of the game. Dann had to play that ball so it wouldn't go through to the 2 players behind, yet if he'd have let it go to them then they would've been classed as offside and the goal wouldn't have stood. Is the ref actually saying that both the scum players weren't interfering with play because surely the assistant believed they were?

It was an own goal unfortunately so it stood...out of a great shot from "Captain Evra" that was destined for a throw in :(

Haha the linesman tried doing us a favour because it wasnt offside but the ref gave the goal anyway! Surely the linesman's verdict should stand and that he would have had the clearest view even though he was wrong.

As you quite rightly mention the new offside rule is bollocks. Shrek was offside but as he didn't touch the ball he isn't considered to be interfering with play. Personally I think if you are on the pitch you are interfering with play as you affect how defenders position themselves

Nope ref is aloud to outrule the lino's decision, it's like a few years ago when we had a similar situation, RSC scored against us for Blackburn at Eastlands and the lino put his flag up for offside but the ref overuled it and gave a goal

It's a complete joke. However the ref seemed to get bullied by the players there and overruled it. The linesman had the better view.

Notice how Clattenburg is getting all these games, obviously he needs the money to pay off his gambling debts.
I didn't feel that Fletcher deserved a 2nd yellow there (cough) and reckon the ref got a bit carried away after letting the scums goal stand. Must've thought that it would even it up a little? Either that or he had the game down for a 1-1 with Ladbrokes!!!
