I would add the experience of an Ashley Williams to the squad he is a very capable player. Like Demi did .. not going to be fazed and will bring a calmness to the back 4. Good pace great on the ball, perfect for a Vinny type of role.

I like the looks of Steven Caulker, he's only on loan at Soton and if QPR fail to get promoted he could be interested in a move even as 3rd choice.

He's young and a big strong athletic type, people are ranting on here about all the ball playing centrehalves we have, well here is your no-nonsense physical centrehalf. Also Shawcross, I like him too.

And I'm sure you think he's not good enough, so maybe we pay another £30M+ on a chancer from some foreign league, cause that's working out well for us. Fact is with centrehalves, you never really know how they're going to come through for you, so let's tick the boxes we can and let the league cup figure out the rest.
