The speculation is going to go wild if they announce he is not going to renew his contract.

It's one thing when it was Klopp with a Dortmund team that was struggling already, but they are also not going to get anywhere near as much press coverage/criticism as we will being in England.

Our manager and players have the mental toughness I believe to handle it, but it surely must be taxing on some level, and I can't wait until we can stop with this rampant speculation every season about our manager.

I was reading a quote from Berigistan, 3yrs is a term they like for a manager 4 if things are right for the club, we are ready for Pep, Not sure we have the squad just yet to play how he has at both B clubs.

Do you really believe it will stop then?
The press will still find shit to write, im just waiting for some bollocks to be printed just in time for the game on monday. Anything to unsettle the team.

That's not likely with Txiki and his philosophy though, is it?

He is a winner with good pedigree in CL. Seems to also generate the best from his squad, something which sadly cannot be said for Pellegrini at the moment.

Marca reporting Pep turned down new Bayern £20m contract which means he is leaving at the end of the season.

This means there are 3 options:
1. Chelsea
2. Utd
3. Us

rumours in the press this morning say Mourinho will not be in charge at the weekend. Chelsea re looking to being in Juande Ramos as a short term replacement assisted by JT.

Utd cannot be happy with the way Van Gall is going and will go for Pep

City need to get their man, if that mean going gung ho right now, then lets do it. I dont want to miss out on Guardiola.

Not doubting his ability just not sure his style suits Txiki's vision, could be wrong.

If he leaves Bayern at the end of the season it will be for us - I've been convinced we've been in contact since before Pellegrini joined us.
He won't join us midseason though, his personal 'code' means he wont break a contract or negotiate for a new job while someone is still in charge.

I agree he will honour his contract, but we can negotiate his contract for next season with his advisor's now. that will not impact Bayern at all.
I want City to be all over this, the best coach on the planet (outside Liverpool according to the deluded) coming to us is a must.

From Pep's point of view though, Pellegrini still has another season on his contract - the reason he ended up at Bayern and not here instead of Pellegrini was because we still had a manager and he didn't want to start negotiations. (He made a general point about it to the press at the time without mentioning us by name).

Get your point about Txiki's vision. Just think that a proven CL manager will be high on the list of what they expect of a manager. Plus, it's not as if the football Atletico play is in any way shabby

Simeone would end up like Moanio, in no time... In a war with players on 5x what AM players are on, backed by some crack pot agent who has the ears of the owners at any club he goes too.The premier players are never going to accept being asked or to be coached or even bullied into running that bit extra to win games. Yaya as good as he has been and still is, would shit a breeze block if he was given the work load of the AM midfielders.

Pep turned down Abramovich once. Don't see him going to Chelsea. To be honest if he really is leaving I think he's coming here. Pellegrini's 4 th year was his pay off. I don't think the Count has had or has any doubts that if Peps available he's coming to the Etihad.

The last time we contacted Pep we did not have the full Spafia here.

We missed Hazard, the Rapist and Isco. We are not allowed to miss Pep, we need him to take us to the next level.
