I'm telling you, they're getting twitchy now that Brendan is available. The lure of him is getting too much.

Very well worded backing. Jose has to completely turn it around with the current resources or he is gone.

what else would they say really? He won the league. And they added talent. Not a lot. But some. He can't really bitch about that even though City and the Rags got the cannons out and really restocked this summer. Chelsea tend to do it little by little every window it seems. And the difference is they have built an economic model where they're basically a market for young players to be bought and sold at a profit, rather than developed internally. IMO they are paying for the achilles heel in that model right now, which is zero affinity for the club from any players because no one has been developed or seen their wild success there as important. Compare the success that Vinnie, Yaya, Dave, Aleks, Joe, even Nasri have found together. That brings a tightness that you can't buy. They've earned it and share it with the new guys and it creates a culture. Chelsea are just the guys that won it last year waiting to get dropped or sold for the guys that might win it next year or the year after who aren't even at the club yet. The only real remaining legacy from their prior title in 2010 under Anchovies are Terry and Ivanovic. We've seen what they're like. I'm sure Obi Mikel was there too but he's not mattered in years. And if you look at the youth or reserve teams from those years i bet you see not a single fucking name that we would recognize.

And i think we'll avoid what i'm describing about Chelsea based on how we're setup at the Academy.

Good times.

cheers

Apparently Ferguson has said it was not a mistake to appoint Moyes, it was the best decision at the time. It's a bit worrying to find myself agreeing with the miserable git for once.

I always said that they would have to bring a fall guy in with the squad situation they had, and that's exactly what they did. Very cynical, but the right thing to do as I don't believe any top European manager in their right mind would have wanted the job straight after bacon, particularly given the shit state of the squad he left them with

Totally agree and it shows that gollum was not strong enough to tell him the truth about the shit state he was leaving behind.

So Klopp will have no kitty for a rebuild ... no transfer kitty for January window that is (Guardian and Telegraph both covering as tomorrow's main story) ... and they expect to challenge for title this season itself?? LOL

Would be nice if he lands here, gets photos taken at airport, outside Anfield as in going for meeting ... then says fuck off and goes back!
