Depends on what the police say I guess. The overiding reason the match was cancelled tonight was the fact that police were only dealing with emergencies and could not cope with a football match - a derby football match to boot!
I'm sure they will have enough resources to cope with Blackburn and City will be working to de-ice the stadium. All major routes and public transport services are back up and running so this is another big plus.
The only dangerous aspect about getting to the game will be getting out of your own road (if its not a main road), parking and walking on pavements.

I was at the ground earlier today. They had diggers moving the snow and the walkways were clear so should be ok.

I was surprised that the Arsenal game was called off tonight - they had at least 36 hours notice that the snow was on the way today (no snow fell in London before today) and whatever preparation they made, gritting etc, wasn't enough.
If we end up with snow on top of ice on top of snow on top of ice I can't see it going ahead. But weather forecasts have been wrong before so here's hoping.

If this one gets cancelled also we are going to have to fit some bloody games in. With the 2 cup games and the Everton game when will we be able to play them?. We will need a bloody big squad if this keeps going.

If this gets canceled, I'll be fuclin depressed. Only real reason I'm flying over is for this game. It'll be good to see family & friends again but a trip to Manc is not complete without a City game thrown in.

arrghhhhhhhhhh, nah just kidding i think they should have enough time to get this sorted with 5 days to go, plus it's not a derby and hardly any blackburn will turn up so GMP wont have a problem with dealing with fan's and can concentrate any problems caused by the weather. simplezz

I say the game goes ahead - I have offered the club use of my landy which has new general grabber ATs on each corner - it seats 7 so if shauny and carlos dont mind squidjing in we can get them there in two trips - also I have thrown in some rock salt for the blackburn coach driver so he can take their team home as well
Its winter out there - sometimes it snows - who you gonna call - Chinners would fix it if we gave him a chance

Reckon it'l go ahead aslong as we don't have anymore snow as everything will be up and running and the roads will be clear, be no worse than boxing day imo.
