Problem number one was Bony. No movement just stands there waiting for the ball, was just awful. Problem number two was Nasri as we all have said it, he brings the game to a halt. Problem number three was Pelle, I was screaming at the tv on the 60min to make a fucking sub. You could clearly see the team go into relax mode and we had tired ass players. Nasri needed to be the first to come off with useless ass Bony, bang we win this damn game,

when looking at the match as a whole the result was not that surprising. sure we dominated possession but we did nothing with it. we were too slow and lacked creation. plus, we played most of the game with 8 or 9 players. Bony was utterly useless and contributed nothing of note; when he starts up top City look a shadow of themselves. Nasri wasn't as bad but he was pretty bad as well. i don't remember him offering anything worthwhile. Raheem should've won this match. how can your finishing be that poor? those bullshit weak daisy cutter shots? come on.

We lacked creation yet Raheem should've won it, how? Did we create something for him to win the match? But we lacked creation?

We didn't take our chances, they did, end of story.

Dippers fans were telling me before sterling even kicked a ball that his last lack of finishing ability will frustrate the hell out of us.

Imo they were spot on. His finishing needs a lot of work.

Luckily he's still very very young and it can improve. It's important that he's getting in to those positions though. Hopefully it's something he'll work on.

That Juve was shit even last night , our problem is quality of number 2 striker Nasri and Silva, when we should have Sterling and Navas and Silva with change to KDB and pres them in Box and witch I hate the most shity Juve have more balls then City in CL . Soon we score we let down . And Pelle is well hes good but no for club that need s to win it all. Witch is this 5 6 season in CL , we are joke really.

Nasri and bony should have been subbed at 60 mins - nasri was making increasingly poor decisions in the game and bony was playing way to high up the pitch - pellers stubborness rearing its ugly head again

Yes sterlings finishing is very poor - but he had a decent game I thought.

I disagree about Pogba and thought apart from the cross for the first goal Fern had him in his pocket.

I have a dreadful feeling that this will affect us in the league.

Kompany won't be 100% fit for weeks, he'll make mistakes, put pressure on himself, make more mistakes. Both him and Peller will still want him to play.
Silva wont have a full range of passing or 100% effort because he's carrying a knock
Aguero won't be shooting unless its a tap in
Pellers won't play KBD for some fucking stupid reason of pride.
Navas will start playing upfront on his own
Pellers will appoint Platt as head coach
We'll steal Villa from NYC and piss all their fans off, he'll be fat, slow, shit but still stay all season.
Glauber Berti will come back to shore up our defence.

Seen it before, happens every season.

Said after 10 mins that Nasri looked like he was on one of his sulking days.
Haven't read through the full thread so someone may have said this already, but still think we should have signed another striker. Bony is clearly not good enough. I didn like Dzeko , but this guy is certainly no better than him, if not worse.
Still cant believe Pellegrini, experienced as he is, risked long term injury by panicking and bringing Sergio on - stupid decision.

Must admit don't think that Juve are worth all the hype that they have been getting today in the media (and in aftermath of the game).

Yes they were defensively solid but they weren't really a threat at all either. Although Pogba's ball in was a peach we should have done better with it and the second goal was just one of those you couldn't do much more about.

Sterling for me, though he played well, has to be sticking those chances away. 2-0 and we would have been home and dry (ish).

Agree with the general consensus regarding Wilf and Nasri. Didn't offer much of anything both slow the game down and allowed them to regroup.

We had the game done we missed the chances, that you have to take and paid the price. Overall we dominated the game, and an I talian team does what they do. Survive and nick it. 1-1 great 1-2 piss poor result. As for Nasri, again he bottles a challenge they win it cross goal. He was at fault and he knew it ! Goals change games.

I ain't panicking. Two players in last night's team have only been with us a few weeks and had international duties in between. It will gel.

I am one of three (I think?) Who popped down for us to win the CL this year in Slims epectation / prediction thread and I stick by it. Call me now by all means but please do come back apologise come end of the season. We will do it, it won't be easy and will be in true typical City fashion!
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Poor day at the office.

Draw a line under it and prepare for Saturday. Back to the bread and butter, which for me, is more exciting and important anyway.

We should have played our fittest starting 11 which would have meant both Silva and Sterling sat on the subs bench as both are clearly not 100% fit.KDB and Navas should have started with Nasri playing on the left of the midfield and KDB central or in the number 10 role. But we must put that result behind us and move on.

What challenge did he bottle? Pogba has the ball and Ferna challenges him, he lays it out wide, Nasri runs to challenge the player out wide ( Evra? ) he lays it back to Pogba who is in acres of space because after the Ferna challenge he drops back whilst Ferna drops back towards our goal.
