Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

This fucking snow! It started this morning with a call to my sisters in the North and also a mate who had not even got off his driveway. For about 20 of us who were planning our assault on the A1/M18 Mottram or M62 it was a trip that from the heart had to be made but finally common sense took over and having now seen the pictures I can see why. It is no better down here but madly we all just believed that somehow it would be a doddle getting to the game. We are probably not nowhere near the furthest away but It is a real let down not getting to the game, however it may work in the teams favour with the rags still reeling from the FA Cup. The positive side is that at least we will hopefully get to the game instead of what we thought tommorow, having tickets, the game on and lost in the snow....forever.

Good to hear that your making the trip mate, this is like a Mecca moment for us. However, we did have an excuse if it didn't go to Plan didn't we. Robbie can't play in the snow, the back four couldn't gel because of the Ice, Bellers knees froze up, Mancio forgot his scarf etc.
Now when we play 'em, the only excuse for not beating them 5-0 (the Plan) and only getting 3 will be the players coming back into the team!
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

I am a bit disappointed the game is off today having driven to the ground to get my lads birthday pressie. They've cleared pathways and roads round the ground. I think they acted hastily in calling it off but I can understand why they did it. If I had listened to the news tho I would be bunkered in my house thinking we were ready for the next ice age.
I feel for the people who have travelled from abroad like this nice fella I met at the airport when I was working yesterday. He was a blue season ticket holder from Norway he made it and he looked a bit down last night.

I agree...council seem to have done a really good job around the city centre and all the roads and most of the pavements are fine!
