Does anyone know what happened. Hopefully a cunning ploy to get him out of travelling to Sierra Leone for international break.

He should have used "Striker Crisis" instead....or "City unable to use their Boneh" or "City flop latest injury struggle" with a subheading of "City should follow Chelsea medical team lead, says Jose"

etc

We will find out more at the Presser today. Didn't we buy Bony partly because of his excellent injury record.

that sounds quite poorly worded. It's like when someone says "traffic isn't bad." Well, if there's traffic, then it's bad!

But yes, he seemed usually healthy but remember he was also playing at Swansea. I'm sure playing with better players, and in a more competitive setup creates some challenges that'll tweak or turn a hammy or an ankle respectively from time to time. Esss normull.

cheers

To be honest , Im not worried about this as Bony is more of a hold it up tyoe of player than a natural scorer.Nacho has more in his locker, I feel...cant wait to see him play.

Not good. We wait to hear the full extent, but this leaves us pretty much solely reliant on Sergio. I don't think MP would be ready to put Iheanacho straight in and I wouldn't fancy Sterling as a stand in striker considering his below average finishing.

We did pretty well last year when Sergio was injured - we have plans in place to have a formation where we dont necesarily have to have an out and out striker ....if it comes down to it.

Not worried.

Bony is excellent late game though when we need a hold up player. Anyways, it's all a ploy to fuck off the Ivory Coast games.

Thats exactly what he is , he is 100% not the player to come on when we desperately need a goal.

Maybe Nacho is that guy, but really I'd hate to think our plan B is a kid. Sami looked good off the bench last week and if we get KDB which looks likely now, Navas as well will terrify tired defenders in the last 10 minutes.

Fuck being a City fan sucks doesn't it? Where is Corradi and Vassell? The real superstars.
