Honourable mentions for quite s few others.
Navas
Kolorov
Fern
Mangler.

Very happy with the team at the moment.

Navas is having a really good start to the season but my god if he could finish or make the clinical final ball he would be a superstar. All the others named above were excellent today

I thought he was really intelligent today and put some great balls into feet, but they were wasted. In the end he was just hit and hope.

Good game from him though.

Apart from the fact he couldn't buy a goal, I think Navas has had 3 very decent games now. The balance to the team with him and Sterling is great. He's picked out Kun on several occasions but Sergio has failed to score. No criticism of Sergio though. I think he will have a phenomenal season if he stays fit.
Navas is well worth his place at the moment.

According to my wife who's a Seville supporter, he's never been able to finish. At 30, I doubt he'll ever learn it. What he's provided for us so far is what we can expect in the future but nothing else.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

What I've noticed with Navas is that the oppo overload to cover the threat, whether real or not. Move Dave towards the wing and it opens them up no end.

He works his socks off and does stretch the pitch but you just have no confidence in him when he's running in on goal.

Nasri's goal is a classic example of the clinicalness and deftness I oh so wish Navas had because he works himself into some great positions which warrant 10+ goals a season - he just can't finish. He seems to panic when he has too much time.

Not sure if anyone saw the post game interview with he and Hart, but when asked if this was his best form with the team he said something to the extent of if he's given a run of games you can see what he can do.

Will be intriguing to see what Pellegrini does when Clichy is fit again. My guess is if Alex is playing as he is, Clichy will have to work his arse off to be first choice.

Thought Kompany massively let us down today by not adding to his tally. Knew he couldn't keep it up. Ship him out.

I think that's always been the case with Kolarov. If he starts dropping people for no reason I'll be pissed off.

Silva. An absolute joy to watch.

Also good to see Vinny getting back to his best

Has the pen finally dropped with Pella? You play your strongest team until someone gets injured or form drops off. This has been a real team effort and I am loving every minute of it.

Vinny for me. Silva has been immense also, but God what difference a fired up in for captain makes. Saved is a few times as well.

Absolutely wonderful all round team performances but players can't play every single game with no breaks. Pellegrini's challenge is to make as few as possible, keep more players involved and happy but still maintain the same balance and performance. Sounds so easy

I've yet to see this mentioned in the media (that said I gave up reading or listening to pundits), they're are so quick to role out the "individuals, not a team" bollox......

Oh and Spanish Dave again for me too this week, with special mention to Kaptain K for his performance & goal line clearance

Despite his failure to score, Kaptain K for me, he is looking imperious so far and the league should be brickin it if he stays fit.

Three players at the same level for me: Kolarov, Merlin and Captain Vinnie who deserves my nomination when he kept our clean sheet in 2nd half!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

I would give a special honourable award to Sergio Aguero, for helping to save an Everton fan's life, by alerting the ref, the medics and the Everton bench. That's my special hero of the day!
