It will be interesting to see if he gets a chance in the position silva is occupying, as he would almost certainly do some damage there.

I was thinking that as he scored the goal, but it's the Silva puzzle which I think amongst others you discussed previously. If you could even call it a problem, it's a problem to have Nasri and Silva in the same team. It has worked a treat under both Mancini and Pellegrini when we played with two forwards, because that would push the opposition's winger a bit back. With one forward though, we can't have both. And now Silva's playing so well in that second striker role, there'd be little point in putting Nasri there. Fuck what squad we have.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I don't think you're thinking at all about what you're saying. Even after a win and great performance away at everton, someone always has to have a moan.

He gets to train with the squad everyday and even being a part of the 1st team during matchday is good experience for someone as raw as Nacho. What ever happened to youngsters putting in the time before getting a chance?

Held for 103 years but I still won't see it unless it's in the same season.

That was a real test today, after the Chav's, and we're really showing our mettle. Fucking loved it.

However, I know I don't pay for it but why does RatBoy get peoples' money to spout so much shit? Oh, wait, it's all about their subscribers isn't it!

Such a negative fucker shouldn't be anywhere near our games, just like that Owen prick on BTSports. For a commentator to suggest a team should concentrate their powers on getting an oppo player sent off is beyond rediculous.

Whoops, did I spell that wrong, but says it all.

Cunts!

Have it!!!

16 shots, 9 on target (70 percent possession) compared to Everton's 10 shots 1 on target.

In this system I think we have to ask a big question about whether de bruyne would really add to what we have in the middle, as he certainly wouldn't have the workrate of Navas if we stuck him out wide

I can see us having to sell nasri if de bruyne comes in, which would be a shame given this system suits him and he would bring long shots to the table which silva lacks. It would be a shame to sell him without him finally getting a chance in the position we bought him for

Agree about KDB. Navas is playing out of his skin at the moment and it'd be harsh to take him out of the team now as well. We've bought an excellent CB and we're on the verge of bringing a creative midfielder to play with Sterling and Silva, but there's no room for them. It's amazing how good we are at the moment.

De Bruyne offers far more consistency than Nasri and can absolutely play in the Silva role if, God forbid, Merlin has a serious injury. Great addition to the squad if we nab him. Harsh on Navas but he'll score more goals than him for sure. FWIW Sky sure we're just working out the details of a done deal to be finalised on Tuesday. We'll see.

Big Sam giving us some great words on Sky. Saying out setup at City is 2nd to none and the club is being run fantastically. Also put in actual analysis on MOTD.

I thought we played very well against a decent Everton side who always give us a game. Everton wont lose many at home this season, and beat a couple of the top 4 sides. We simply had too much for them in the end. Great goals, and another very good performance.

Although we all have a go at BFS, he's actually a really good football bloke. He's met me (;-)) a few times and he's always had good things to say, since the takeover.

T'was interesting when he was sat next to Garry Cook at a doo, that's when I had my deliberations!

Wonder if denayer to Everton could be a good loan, sounds like stones is definitely on his way from Martinez comments (or lack of)
