I'm due to travel from Ireland tomorrow morning so while I don't want the match to be postponed the earlier a decision can be made the better

But like as been said if it carries on till lunch and then frrezes tonight but no more snow it'll probably go ahead but fans travelling from further afield won't be able to make it.
It'll be interesting to see if the Blackburn game goes ahead
I live in Darwen and the driving condition are bad ......... I spend well over an hour in the car and I didn't even get to the town centre this morning before turning back. The town centre is normally less than 5 minutes away

After getting into work this morning I'd say it's a 90% chance of it being off.
It took me an hour to walk from the green quater to Oxford Street, it normally takes about 20 minutes. A lot of bus services are cancelled and some trains have stopped running.
Obvioulsy some people will be disappointed but it would be totally dangerous for the game to go ahead. You have to put people's safety first.

Funny how we've all turned into weathermen in the last few hours!! ;0)
I can't see it going ahead at all, I'm in Cheadle and the snow is the worst I've seen for years....with temperatures staying low and more snow forecast then I would say deffo to be called off.
Hopefully if it's re-sheduled then we'll have a few of the injured defenders back!!

It would be bloody typical if I finally make it over to Manc again and the Blackburn game is fuclin canceled.
I hate snow, it should be eradicated. White cunt flakes, what's the fuckin use of them? Just proves there's no god imo, unless god is a cunt

Yeah Shaw's shocking too ... Work actually phoned me and said not to bother (makes a refreshing change!!)
Whatching SSN and loads opf press conf's have been canned too, Suppose its up to the police and council to decide if there's a safety issue arround the ground, City wont be able to can it themselves though I wouldnt imagine...

Was just talking to mrs about how cold it was when we went Ewood last december so thought it'd be bad, im in flixton and it's horrendous but looks like its stopped now so here's hoping we have no more snow as gritters will get on top of all main roads so it's just fans travelling from afar that will struggle imo.
Hopefully the weather gets better quickly so a decision can be made so that people can make arrangements either way.
Have got to get to sale town hall to register my lad so will ring and check first before digging the snow off drive.

I'm in the city centre and I've never seen such thick snow in a heavily populated area. Can't see it going ahead to be honest.

Would be great a mass snowball fight with the rags. What could the police do? Arrested for threatening behaviour with....snow.
Game on!!

I work in Newton Heath on Grimshaw Lane so literally round the corner from COMS. There has been 6-7" of snow overnight and the roads and our Car Park are a nightmare. Oldham Road is all single file and very slow and trecherous. If it all freezes tonight and the roads don't clear and Car Parks at COMS dont' clear I can't see it being on.

The other semi will probably be called off soon. If the expected freeze comes after this snow ours will be as well and it might be as early as today.

Well we're used to it here. It snowed heavily yesterday here, more than you lot are going on about. HOWEVER, we have winter tyres and probably more machinery in my village than you have in Greater Manchester. I'm just hoping they covered the pitch last night and they've got the heating on. I can walk to the ground tomorrow, i've got time.
They should be able to open the Airport this afternoon. They have equiptment there.
Tomorrow the weather forecast is for sun and above zero temperatures in Sunny manc , so lets' think positive !
