I thought James was top notch for us too, one of the best keepers i have seen at city, still a prick though and i dont know what hes done in his career to be deserved to be listened to as a pundit.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I quite like this approach Hazy; it's somehow satisfying.

The media and all our critics pouring out their bile against us, quite conveniently re-write facts and figures to further their agenda against us.

In reverse, it's a great pity we can't publicly announce that players such as David James, Danny Mills etc.are not now considered to have played for us and their details are no longer being held in our historical records.

A lot of doubt is being cast over our season and I'm not sure if I'm worried or not. I think if our major players reproduce some kind of form such as Yaya and Vincent then we will be fine. They don't turn up again like last season then some of the predictions could come true.

Can we be as poor as last season? I hope professional pride and the hope to prove people wrong comes into play.

Agree SoF. The media force of pundits and journalists are out in force for Chelsea to win the league and arsenal to challenge with us as hangers-on. Thank God the thick bastards get it wrong on a consistent basis.

Chelsea have not improved. Maybe they are even weaker than last season. Costa being injured will duck them up.

Arsenal back 4 and their front line are suspect.

United ate third biggest movers but have a shit central defence and strike force. They are a rooney injury away from mid table.

We need another striker IMO before we put the cheque book away.

That thread title is very misleading, it suggests James had a mind to begin with.

This is a fair comment sis.

There is definitely a huge backlash against us leading into this season... more so than the last two.

I'm seeing constant digs at city all over Facebook and every pundit is the same. The latest on Facebook is a sport bible article "where would city be now without the money".

Of course that allows for hundreds of comments about how we have failed and are a horrible club that deserve nothing etc.

I'll discount all of that easily, but it has got me thinking that another league win this season and we will have to shut a lot of cunts up.
Three league wins in 5 years is an excellent return.

I'm hoping and praying.

People should take it a little easy on David James. I had it confirmed last night that on the wager due to which he lost his house he also lost his mind.
