Delph should be done in the next week. He's not gone on pre season with villa (as his wife is giving birth) which works in our favour but this is also the likely cause in the delay.

Then we are in the hunt still Pogba KDB (my personal wish), Sterling. Any strikers we are rumored with? Dzeko and Jojo should be gone by the end of summer, personally think that we are giving Jojo to cheap if his what I read about Inter is true. I just trying to catch up with transfer topic.

Denayer deal still not done. De Bruyne may or may not be using us to get better deal with Wolfsburg. Back from holiday next week so should know more once he's talked to his club. Sterling reports for training with dippers today and being told to go on tour to maintain their bargaining position with us but I'll be gobsmacked if we don't get him. Pogba deal on ice with Juve only theoretically willing to sell for an astronomical sum. Delph deal will surely happen next week. 8 million is a snip for an England international.

Our defence is fine imo with the addition of Denayer. Maybe just maybe we will replace Sagna with a younger version.

Who apparently has yet signed his new contract, that said he does have another year on his current one

I have to say I'm getting a bit worried about his contract situation.
To me it looks like a similar situation as Pogba had with scum

There's nothing wrong with our current defence, that another top quality striker couldn't put right.

Yes i am too a little, especially when i read this bit on MEN last night..........

"What [Eliaquim] Mangala and [Martin] Demichelis can do, Jason can do that as well," Jesse De Preter told Het Nieuwsblad.

"We are negotiating a five-year contract deal. But Manchester City have to show us that he will get the possibility to integrate into the starting XI."

And while City have announced a host of extensions for their young players in the last fortnight, Denayer's new deal is not likely to be imminent.

Preter told reporters on Wednesday:
"It is complicated and we are still far from an agreement."

http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... st-9626987?

Let's just hope it's just his agent posturing & that Denayer will only let him go so far, Olympique Lyonnais were sniffing around him about a month back apparently (according to the agent of course)......

So KDB will not happen, shame. I have feeling he would be amazing for us, Pogba is how much 100 mill.? That is just nuts, He's great but not 100mill player( in my humble opinion), Sterling from what I read from rumors and forums is closest to come from these three.Hope Mangala will be better this season, he was no bad but, he's not yet what I hope he would be. On fullbacks, who do we chase? Because upgrade on Sagna is needed. And apart from Jojo, Dzeko, and Milner, who is going to leave?

We seem to be in for Fabinho, 21 tear old, Brazilian right back from Monaco. It's just a rumour, though.

No I didn't say De Bruyne wouldn't happen. The deal may be done. It's just that his agent says he's open to what Wolfsburg has to say but also prepared to listen to City and PSG, I believe.

Fabinho who? There was a certain Matteo Darmian stronger and cheaper than him, but we watch this Granata and Nazionale lad going to Trafford! Oh what a terrible mistake!

Allow is the wrong word. We let sturridge leave when he was a complete ass and some would say we were 100% wrong but sometimes when kids get shit advice you have to let them move on.

If denayer gets offered a solid first team contract and the assurances that he's one of the 4 CBs then that's all we can do. I'm sure we get how valuable he is and will make our best effort but you can't guarantee him anything beyond the legit chance to play for one of the best clubs in the world at a fair wage in relation to his talent.

If Denayer does leave City, we need to ensure that there is a healthy, 'sell on' clause inserted into his new contract with the buying club.

If he leaves at the end of his contract, other than compensation I doubt we can include a clause - which would mean us selling him, which I cant see as we'd be hoping he'd sign as per Sturridge, hopefully with a different outcome

Kompany will walk straight back into the team, even though he is currently SHIT SHITE SHIT...we just have to accept that.
As far as Denayer is concerned , he should be told by Pellers that if we concede goals from personal fuckups at the back , even if its early on in the season , then he will get his chance to replace the guilty party for the next game and have his chance to cement his place in the team.

How many games did we play for us?

How many moments he saved our ass?

0.

So. before he and his agent start acting like some arse, prove that you are worthy to receive what you demand.

I would go further, we won fuck all, we should have retained the league and a cup. Fresh start all shirts are up for grabs. New signings and Denayer is like one, Mango and Komps have a lot to prove. Demi is in front of them for me and that is a worry tbh. Same for Navas, Nasri, Dzeko and Jovetic, All fullbacks need pressure as they were pretty pants at times last season.Pellers is the dog and the players the tail any other way and we will be stuttering again, with Pellers gone by Jan.
