Good to see De Jong getting the recognition he deserves.

As many said Bellamy has been outstanding so far, so I'd vote for him. Given and Tevez colse to him tho, and NDJ fourth.

1. Bellamy
2. De Jong
3. Tevez
Bellamy has been great this season - far exceeded my expectations from when he signed him. Hope he keeps up the good work.
De Jong is the defensive midfielder we've been crying out for for years. He wasn't great at the end of last season, but has been superb for the majority of this season.
Tevez - I was delighted when we signed him and he hasn't disappointed. It's obvious to see why the Utd fans were so eager for Fergie to sign him up.
I think Given has been good also, but his lack of presence for crosses and set pieces is worrying and I think contributed to our shaky defence for some games so that's why he's not made my top 3.

Given at moment for me, brilliant shot stopper. Is it just me or since Mancini arrived has Given been coming out for the ball more and getting it.
The competition and In no particular order -
Tevez - slow start but lots of energy, desire and now producing goals
Bellamy - a threat attacking and major help defenisvely, what an engine
DeJong - unsung hero who helps to provide the platform for our attackers to deliver attractive play.

I've noticed it as well but I've also noticed Given coming out for the ball and missing it more (more than never). It makes the defences job a lot easier if the keeper claims his fair share of crosses, and that isn't a strength of Shay's, but it certainly looks as though he's been asked to come off his line. I'm happy if Shay's happy.

Also agree, lets hope BEllers can stay injury free, he's on a good run at the moment, and lets hope Given doesn't win player of the season because he has nothing to do from now on!!

So far its Bellamy, but I think it will be Tevez by the end of the season.
Given has obviously been excellent but it takes a lot for a keeper to be given POTY at a club.

That's exactly what I was thinking; Tevez is getting better & better. Hope Given doesn't get it, don't want him to have that many saves to make.
