A versatile hard working thoroughly professional player who has appeared for us in something like 5 positions this season and we wont miss him? (Not to mention home grown).

Hes a squad player....thats all he ever was or will be to a top 4 club............today he has been embarrassing. Most games hes average at best.

All in all , not worth the huge wage packet hes on.

The point was that we wont miss him - we already had a relatively 'small' squad with not that many home grown players and without him we lose a lot - we need another striker, at least one (two footed) winger, and probably another midfielder one of whom is preferably home grown. In other words we WILL miss him.

It worries me that a big strapping lad like Mangala get's out jumped so often. Clearly he needs to improve this and it is something he can quite easily do in extra training by himself.

Too many fans have their heads up their arse when they talk about Milner....if he was anything other than English he would have been sold ages ago.....today he has been utter shit and more often than not in the past he has been average at the very most.

Not good enough for Man City.

I think his problem is that City have turned him into a jack of all trades, and we then drop him into any one of several positions and expect him to perform. It's clear his head is elsewhere as the season's gone on, but he's put some shifts in earlier in the season that showed his importance to the midfield.

This is the type of situation where you despair with Pellegrini - if Milner has one foot out of the door, stick a fucking kid in his place, especially now that we can see QPR's defence is non-existent.

This is one of Pellegrinis biggest downfalls,he just will not play any of the youngsters no matter how many goals up we are.

Gotta feel for the defender there, when you're in deep shit, stuff like that just has a tendency to happen. Poor cunts.

I wonder if they will only be leaving 1 back now for the rest of the game? That in itself was fucking stupid tactics and they were always going to come unstuck at some point.

It's actually reached a point of dereliction of duty I feel.

Playing milner and lamps instead of two kids is retarded shit.

Cheers

i want to see an 8th sub slot reserved exclusively for youngsters. It's something the FA could do to promote young talent if they wanted. Would probably need to be voted for by the Prem teams but it's in their favour.

Nope. It's mildly frustrating to see Yaya and Kompany on the bench, when they could have been given another weekend off to continue their recovery and just given a couple of younger players a chance.

The other ridiculous thing that we all know will happen, is that Pellegrini will drop players who are playing fairly well next week in favour of Kompany and Toure (when milner and Lampard are the ones who need to miss out), almost certainly bring in Clichy for Kolarov despite us having put in some improving performances of late.
