Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

(including those who had to turn back, due to inclement conditions)
However much excuses the rest of us can make, valid or otherwise, these people are truly the heart and soul of the club.
No bullsh!t: I mean it this time
And they really showed up those 'stay-away' Boro 'fans'!

They always are. It was empty every week when they were in the Prem as well. Shit fans, shit club. I hope they stay down there and rot.

Fantastic effort by the travelling blues again and in sharp contrast to the pathetic effort by the smog monsters

They certainly did. It was amazing on TV hearing the coaches shouting for so long because there wasn't a whimper from the Borough fans. Then you could hear the City fans just take over and it sounded like a home game.

Congrats to those brave City fans--must have been a hell of a drive. Have a safe trip returning.

I have to agree with the sentiment. It looked bloody awful . So many empty seats . Great to hear the blue moon chant in the first half.
It's a shame that the Boro fans don't respect what we are doing for football. ( you know, play clean, good, solid , healthy footy ..without trying to cheat , dive, complain to the ref etc).

Seconded !
I'm flying over for the game on wednesday. (and) Although I know it's going to be cold I don't envy those poor fellas marching up to Boro today. Sure, we've got minus 8 right now, but at least i drive with winter tyres !
Definite twelfth (night, sorry man ! ) . Keeping singing fellas ......btw are you lot any good at 'ol man river' ??

couldn't agree more. First time for years I've not just worn my shirt to a match, and bloody glad I did! Not a good day to be sat on the third bloody row-next time I'm wearing thicker socks!

Was speaking to some coppers in Yarm after the game, and they were absolutely in awe that so many Blues had braved the weather to travel up today.
As has already been said, a huge hand to all the Blues that made it to the ground and commiserations to those that were forced to turn back coming over The Top. Must concur that it was undoubtably cold there today probably just shades Ice Station Zebra of a few seasons ago. Trouble is I've got these blooming rashes now, and I'll have to wait until I thaw out to see if they're Chilblanes or Chemical/Nuclear Fallout Burns. Lol.
We're in the hat. Keep the faith.

I KNOW WHAT IT,S LIKE TO "TRY" AND ´PLAY IN MINUS CONDITIONS...BELIEVE ME YOU PULL OUT OF 50/50 TACKLES AND DO NOT PLAY LIKE YOU NORMALLY DO.....EVER GET A BALL ON THE SIDE OF THE LEG AT MINUS FUCKING 5??????
ANOTHER REASON I HATED RUSSIA.
SO NOW THE GAMES OVER I THINK THE LADS DID WELL OVERALL......ESPECIALLY BOYATA...HE WON JUST ABOUT EVERY HIGH BALL AND GOT HIS FOOT IN WHEN IT WAS NEEDED!..GAVE AWAY SOME SILLY BALLS BUT LIKE I SAID......MINUS DEGREES...WE CAN FORGIVE THEM !
ROLL ON THE NEXT ROUND...HOPEFULLY WE WONT BE PLAYING IN SCOTLAND LIKE TODAYS GAME!
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
