What a great week - fantastic game against Wolves, into 5th without kicking a ball, and now a new kit thread. It just gets better and better! Nice kit, by the way.

I know I know, but you must agree that kit needed sharing!

It's very '56 FA Cup Final, didn't we have a similar maroon/white stripes away shirt 5 or 6 years ago?

I Don't believe the club would produce arguably the best 3 kits in the league,
and then turn out that fookin monstrosity...
As you can tell.......... I dont like it, not a patch on the current black one,
The black one is my all time favorite

Nice kit. I'm not convinced though.
There are parts of it that would look really well and it seems to fit well with the design ethos for the current 3 kits. But the more I look at it the more I see little touches of detail that aren't right. Maybe that's just the picture.
This could be a (test) design for the kit. The issue I see is that big vertical stripes like that will look absolutely terrible on more generously proportioned fans. That is unless they're really smart about it and put very carefully designed in concave curves in the lines (with a slightly different curvature for each shirt size) so they end up looking straight when worn.

It looks like someone has a bit of software to design their own shirt, maybe even on FIFA game or something. I like it though.
I do prefer the current black kit as well.
I got the home shirt for christmas from the wife and spilled hot grease over it on christmas day. Friggin gutted, but got it washed off (thank fuck or she would have killed me).

There's no reason to change any of the kits released this season!
From a financial point only the sponsors or manufacturers might want to push this but the owners should give a firm NO!
Things are tight enough without changing kits every season!

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy!

I would love that shirt if they took the Manchester badge off the Maltese cross and replaced it with club crest on the sleeve.
Crazy Cabbage,
That striped "monstrosity" is almost identical to the 1956 Cup Final shirt that I wear....and as you know, I am "cutting edge" trendy.
THAT SHIRT MAYBE FAKE BUT IT IS COOL AS fUCL.

how many times old man? i'm on my 2nd whisky and yr making me do a double take. fucler. ;)
I agree with the comment that we actually shouldn't even change kits next season, except for the obv. European kit we'll need for CL (fingers crossed). I'd love to have the same 3 kits next season, and what a statement it would be to the fans and the football world that the richest fuclers on the block can buck the trend of needing a new kit every season. Would be a fantastic touch.
cheers
