Ronan swivel mate lol.
:))
Robinho scores fuck all and has fuck all MEANINGFUL contribution in away matches to date. That's the top and bottom of it, no matter what kind of fancy frock you put on it.
Kompany had a few good games in Midfield but always got found out when up against the top sides. And he's been wank in defence bar one fucking game I can think of. Not that anyone asked but if you ask me, he's the most over-rated of all of Hughes' buys.
Folk tried to tell me that Kompany was a better centre half than Dunne. Just like some have tried to tell me Tevez is like Vassell.
Now CARL if you want to find something fucking hilarious, have a howl at those cunt and tell me that they've been watching City play closely!!
WELL.........TO COMPARE TEVEZ TO VASSELL OR VISA VERSA WAS A LITTLE SILLY.
I HAVE SEEN KOMPANY PLAY WELL MANY A TIME....NOTHING AMAZING BUT HE HAS PLAYED WELL IN A FEW GAMES.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

The thing i think with Kompany is.
He has the same sort of control as me at 5 a side=shite.
He'll be a better centre half i reckon.

He is emergency cover, no more. To try break up a centre half pairing that are trying to build up an understanding with each other for a very average player who has played well ONCE in that position would be absolutely crazy IMO.
They've played 13 games together. They are making mistakes but they won't get worse as time goes on. No need to panic.

HERES 2 CRACKERS THAT YOUVE COME OUT WITH IN THE LAST 48 HRS.
BELLAMY DIVED.
KOMPANY HASNT HAD A GOOD GAME FOR CITY YET.
HERE,S A QUESTION - DO YOU ACTUALLY WATCH MAN CITY AT ALL OR DO YOU SAY THESE THINGS TO WIND PEOPLE UP?
No. I sit in a fucking casino in some south American shithole and occasionally catch a glimpse of Match of The Day when in-between picking fucking fights with people on the internet by slating their views without a valid argument.
BELLAMY DIVED IS WHAT YOU SAID - ONLY A FUCKING NUMPTY WOULD SAY THAT (THE REF DID BUT HES A NUMPTY)
EVERYONE ELSE INCLUDING THE FUCKING BOLTON PLAYER WHO FOULED HIM SAID HE DIDNT DIVE..BUT YOU DID.
NUMPTY STILL STANDS.
AND BTW - I WATCH FOXSPORTS AND NOT MOTD.

Wasn't this VK's first game back from injury? Cut him a little slack lads.

Last season we won 2 away games in total. One of them was post-takeover, Robinho played in the one we won. We lost plenty of matches he didn't play in.
We were really poor away from home and it wasn't anything to do with Robinho.
Kompany didn't have a great game but we know he's better than that and he's a young player who's getting better and had been struggling with injuries.

I go with Dazby on this one. VK played his 1st game back from injury and he was rusty. Training fit ain't match fit.
Last season VK was worth our respect. How many games did he play after having pain killing injections?
...and for your information, it is commonly considered in football coaching circles that the defensive pairing are usually the last on field pairing to develop a mutual understanding and gain efficiency. No matter how good that pairing is individually, it takes time for them to become a unit.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

You may be right and the defensive partnership may be the one that take longest to develop an understanding but I feel the quality of players we have bought should allow us to expect that they will be at a high enough standard before the understanding develops that basic errors are avoided as in not appearing to be asleep when the oppo takes a throw in or being available to Shay when he recieves a pass back.

Mate I know our away from in general was piss poor and that's a seperate debate. But based on what I saw last season, I thought Robinho was one of our poorest players, if not THE poorest player in most away games.
As for Kompany, I think he had a few decent games in midfield last season, but I NEVER thought he was outstanding or that he would be the next Vieira as some were suggesting.
He is decent cover but I will say this now - HE WILL NEVER BE A TOP QUALITY FOOTBALLER IN MIDFIELD AND SHOULD NEVER BE LET NEAR OUR DEFENCE WHILE WE HAVE OTHER OPTIONS. Please feel free to quote on me this at a later date.
Ah, there now, I feel much better.

Or it could be that we are playing the only 2 center backs we have available :)
But we do look more solid partly because Vinnie attacks the ball like he means it and the full backs are mostly staying where they should be. Vinnie's history as a centre back isn't always perfect as he can have the odd stinker but so far so good.

"Even Mancini is listening to me" is a bit different to "might of". We look more solid with Kompany, well in, you were right, all I'm saying is, no need to boast about it, you've been wrong a lot of other times. Need to chill out a bit lad, your often on the aggressive.

2 very good games for him after his stinker at Bolton. Wins nearly everything and looks composed on the ball. He's one of the reasons we aren't playing the long heffalump ball as often
