I always believed that this was just a matter of 'when' rather than 'If', and although unprofessional, I would have loved to see Gollums face when Lescott told him he didn't want to play, and even more when the 6th goal slid in. With all the shit that's gone on over this, I can't see Everton posing too much of a threat this season as their dressing room must be like attending a wake!

I'm very interested to hear what Lescott himself has to say on the matter as all we've heard so far is that arrogant bastard Moyes' version of events whereby he comes out sounding like some school headteacher who's had to discipline an unruly pupil.

Burnley 1-0 Everton FT

i'm sure this will be our fault again PMSL.

Saha missed a pen aswell in the 2nd half.

yup Lescott defo was to blame. whats the bet moye's uses lescott as his excuse for poor results all season. funny thing is everton without there solid defence is a team full of holes. midfield looks really bad, attack is plain aweful. i think finally this season that that over achieving team will come majorly unstuck! everton have gone from european rivals to nothing close very very quickly. tottenham are our biggest threat now imo.

It's good, if not ott business for both clubs i think.
They get 24 million, omfg.
And they go n buy Steven Taylor as his replacement, good player for 10 million.
So they have 14 million left.
Wtf are they crying about??
Two years ago, Lesscott would of gone for 6 million max.
Total madness, although i do rate him highly.
I think Ben hiam is very unlucky.
Looked very good pre-season.

bit of an overstatement.. He looked a lot better than last season but that's because he was fucking terrible last season.

Moyes is now saying if we'd come up with the money in June it could all have been sorted & is criticising us for 'haggling' over the price! So all the stuff about not selling was lies, it was just about the fee all along. He's lied through his teeth & taken the piss not only out of the media but his own supporters who believed every word & supported his stance.

The best way I can describe my utter contempt for this man is to say; he's a natural replacement for Ferguson.

Lets hope he uses that for grounds when he tries to get us docked with the FA as he been videos clearly saying none of his team are for sale. That would clear our name.
