When Tevez left the scum, baconface was widely reported saying that he was a bit part player. In his first few games for us there were lots of media hacks saying he was right. Haven't seen any of them mention just how wrong sir baconchops actually was now he's playing blinders every week. Bloody sycophants.

Compare Tevez input into the game, and goals to that of Berbaflop who the press would have you believe is a better player.
I know which one I'd rather have in my team every week. Ten goals now for the non-goalscorer that is Tevez, not too shabby.

I was just thinking about this before, all that shit he was saying after we bought Tevez and look how its turned out the little guy is a fucking gem. I think it was a case of Tevez wanting to join us over them and that old cunt trying to put him down.

here here. only criticism of guy is hes goes out of position every now and again but on a plus point he runs himself into ground every game. all the rags who say he was a "bit part player" at old trafford loved him when he was there. there just bitter...

When you put together our attack, you base it around Tevez like Mancini did today. He's the man in form. You put players in to play off him.
Fergie was trying to convince himself he'll be better off without tevez. He's wrong and his team isnt of course. Tevez is excellent.

I have always had a soft spot for Tevez even when he was at the Swamp, he's the kind of player I can't help to admire because he's class but he still works hard every moment he's on the pitch. Now that he's at City I'm absolutely ecstatic to see him with a blue shirt on every game, and if I were the manager he'd probably be the first name on the team sheet, Given aside.

Indeed took him till November to get going but boy are we reaping the rewards now.
As for the Rags and Baconface slaging him it just somes them up for me, horrible bitter basterds. Tevez did a lot for them in the 2 seasons he played there, playing a huge role in them winning the Champions League and 2 Premier League titles, he deserved to be treated alot better after the contribution he gave in that side, but no, Ferguson insisted on leaving it 'till the last minute because there skint. As a result Tevez being the top pro he is got pissed of and said fuck you then and joined the City revolution. Obviously Fergie was never bothered that a small club with a small mentality such as ourselfs had took him because we are so inconvient... oh wait, no the fact of the matter is Ferguson and those tourist devil worshiping dickheads can see were getting ready to take back our place as one of the top clubs in the country and we weren't scared to ruffle there feathers in the process. As a result of this we got all there vile backlash including that ridiculous "small club, small mentality" statement and all the bollocks before and after the derby plus all the Hughes shite now. They know we are coming for them and that is why the never shut the fuck up about us FACT.

Always thought he had a lot of character - an Argentinian playing in Brazil, takes some bottle.
The sort of player who works his gonads off to repay those who show faith in him. Wish a few more had that attitude.

Great point mate
In his first few games, he didnt seem up for it, but he looks like he's settled in now.

Yep and they are paying for it in the longterm. They have a lot of depth as a team but they are having trouble right now replacing him and the tranny.

Has been class and up there with Bellers for POTY so far, didn't expect as many goals as he is currently getting and long may it continue as link his goals with alround work then he is world class imo.
If Adebayor had the same work-rate like he did at start of season he would be truly brilliant aswell.
As for baconface i honestly believe he's scared of us now and upto his mind games and expect him to come out with some bullshit about Carlos before the semi's to try and nullify the threat, which will work in our favour as he'll have a blinder.

This is a good thread - I was delighted when he signed and have become happier all the time - forget the scum fans and baconface - this thread is a good place for all the CITY fans that slagged him off early to come on and put the record straight - there were quite a few I think!

Tevez or Berbatov? I know who I'd rather have!
Clue: It's the one who has scored 6 goals in his last 6 games.

I think him and SWP are making a great partnership down the right hand side and cant wait for the two of them together again.
Must admit wasn't to impressed with him early on but now for me he is turning into the best player we have.
