Some start for Van Gaal ...

Good - if promoted sides do ok, it's usually early on when teams know less about them. I doubt van gaal watched a lot of Burnley last season and he's hardly going to be catching up on them this summer

But Sky just told us that Scum's starting fixtures has a potential of 18/18 points for them, LOL ... and we'll be playing catch-up all season with the rest given our tough start.

The gameweek won't change ... we will still play out the games in this order (only maybe towards the end of the season if some get left out with later stages of FA cup or another League Cup Final) ... but the TV game changes will only be a time change on the same weekend, so (as I explained at the start of the thread) all fixtures are Sat 3pm kick-offs by default, then TV picks get slotted into Sat 1245, 1730 and Sunday 1330, 1600 and Monday 2000 in two monthly blocks ... but essentially the ORDER of the games we play will remain the same.

Oh I get all that but its still a load of timewasting boillox as some of us need to plan trains, places to stay, time off work etc ... They could save everyone loads of time and changes by agree the first half of the season live games before releasing the fixtures. As it it stands today I cant plan for any of the games!

Looks set up for a late surge by us from March onwards, but cup involvement will probably ruin that. It's a nice change to be able to talk about proper football again, but so much of the list will change over the next few months that I'm not booking any tickets yet.

I presume there must be yet another international weekend in September as we have a blank then.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I think it's blatant anti-city bias. Cunts.

All our tough games done by the end of Feb apart from the rags - I'll take that.

I think I prefer the tough start. Means preseason will be slightly more intense and players will know they need to be switched on from the very beginning.

Jan could be our toughest month if Yaya goes to the African cup of nations. We struggled last time.
